Note that this is not the total cost. The permits for Buena Vista Construction, Disney's internal construction company, do not have costs on them. They would be doing a lot of the detail and theme related work, like installing all the show scenes in GMR, so there is likely a good chunk on money there.

I'm well aware I just thought it would be interesting to do the math on the numbers you did find.

Is that AK one for a entire new lane from the toll booth onward?

Here is the map from the permit. The work area is between the lines marked with all the 'L' numbers.

Thanks, sort of guessed that's where the work was, but couldn't tell if it was all just repaving or additional lane creation.

Besides the permits I posted in the other thread for Rivers of Light, there was also this one for contractor Balfour Beatty, not sure exactly what it is for.

713, 715 W Savannah Circle - Discovery Island 310 - TSR Pizzafari

We probably shouldn't get to excited about this one, but I will offer it up anyway. The work area is just for the mountain area of the ride and the expiration date is 6/30/2015.

Expedition Everest - General Modifications

it's amazing how they get away with such generic descriptions of the work to be done. Most of the permits i've ever pulled required detailed descriptions or detailed drawings.

Well, these aren't actually permits, they are Notices of Commencement used to indicate that work on a permit is about to begin. The actual permit records are not available on-line.
