It's C Ticket Sunday!

The Newest addition to the Carri ran Cove area of the Adventureland Park is... Typhoon Lagoon!
This ride takes place I a turntable with smaller turntables like on the classic teacups, but instead of teacups, dinghies are found. These dinghies are attached to the ground by a think spring that allows these carts to tilt in various ways as the Whirlpool spins!

The Flying Dutchmen

Enter thru a cave in Caribbean Cove and reach the lost pirate ship of Davey Jones The Flying Dutchmen take a seat in one of 9 rows of 12 and watch in horror as the ship swings back and forth. The ship then swings out a waterfall soaking the entire boat. It sadly never goes all the way upside down but it gets close.

Introducing Mickey Meets the World. This is a brand new show coming opening day for fantasyland park. Being the first international circle vision 360 feature filmed mostly over seas. The show stars Mickey as he travels around the world. Designed to be place in a land with it’s a small world it's exterior is in the same style.

Mickey Meets The World

The entrance can be found under a dome topped circular building. The building is design to match it’s neighbor It’s a small world. Entering the building guests find a beautiful Mary Blair mural of the country's we will visit and Mickey. This waiting room can also be used for extra queue space on crowded seasons or days. The rest of the line is pretty generic with guests going down a colorful hall way finally until they reach the pre show.

th

Pre show

Guests enter the pre show from the queue. Forming three rows we all face a large screen on the opposite side of the room as where the guests stand. On it we see Mickey in his home packing for his big trip.

“Oh hi there, are you ready for are big trip?”
“Ok I’ be ready in a second.”

Minnie walks in through the door.

“Leaving so soon Mickey?”
“Yep my friends are waiting for me.”
“Make sure to take a picture of every place you go especially Paris.”
“Will do Minnie”

Now ready to leave Mickey tells us to go to the end of our row and wait for the doors to open

“See you real soon.”

Main Show

Guest enter a brand new circle vision theater at the front of the theater Mickey stand with a camera in hand. He is seated in a chair on a podium so no one can reach him to damage him. An overhead voice tells us to move to the end of the row and to not sit on the rails. The movie begins only about 30 seconds later.

Scene 1

The screen changes from pitch black to a look at the the sky the camera points downwards and see the Grand Canyon. Soaring over it the camera slowing moves closer to the water rushing through the canyon. Remember this is a 360 experience guest can look in any direction they want to.

“Wow this sure is beautiful I better take a picture for Minnie.”

A flash of light takes us to the next scene.

Scene 2

After the flash the location has changed. Now in Japan the camera is focused on the legendary Mount Fuji. Flying quite close to is snow covered peaks Japanese palaces come in to view.

“Oh boy better take a picture of this.”

Scene 3

Just like the last flash it acts as a transition. The screen shows that Mickey is flying over the Great Wall of China in 360*. Also important note here the music for each scene is from the country that it was filmed in.

“The Great Wall really is great huh.”

Mickey pulls up the camera and we move on.
The+Great+Wall+of+China+8.jpg

Scene 4

Now in Egypt guest should be right in the middle of two of the great pyramids of Giza. Circling around the pyramid every one should get a great view of the pyramids.

“This sure is swell.”

Scene 5

Now in Italy the show takes guests down in to the canals of Venice. Passing gondolas and duck under bridges the camera takes back to the sky for the perfect view of all of Venice.

“Minnie would love this.”

Scene 6
Now flying over Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. Flying over a bridge next on the right is a waterfall. To add to immersion they spray most on the guests.

“Wow this looks familiar.”

Scene 7

Now on the ground the scene is made so that the guest stare at the Eiffel Tower. With the sunset going on behind it the scene is set.

Mickey just stares memorized by the sun set. He then takes the picture.

Scene 8

The grand finale start by going up an elevator no one else is in. The doors open and the camera glides into place for a perfect view over Paris.

“Wow, better show Minnie this.”

The show now ends and the doors to the left of the theater open.

Welcome to C-Ticket Sunday everyone!

tumblr_n08k1wIRzQ1qcga5ro1_500.gif

Today's Big Project is Simple - Post any C-Ticket ideas for the American Adventure Park, World Center Boardwalk, Adventureland Park, and Fantasyland Park! :D

Anyone is invited to join in!

C-Tickets are usually flat rides, such as the Teacups and Dumbos. But, they can also range from basic cut out dark rides (Ex. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan's Flight), or even One AA shows (Ex. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln).

Here's a picture of a few of Disneyland's and Magic Kingdom's C Tickets to Give Everyone an idea on what we're looking for! :D:bookworm:

Swiss Family Robinson's Holiday Race
C-Ticket

swiss_family_robinson_ver2.jpg

Located in the Mysterious Jungle, join the Swiss Family Robinson in a race-ing celebration of their new home located nearby! Ride small elephants, ostriches, zebra, hippos, and rhinos as you race around the jungle! But beware of tigers, hyenas, and snakes on the way!

swiss-family-robinson-1960-03.png

This attraction is a mix between Autopia and a racing carrousel, having the track of Autopia and the racing/carrousel vehicle style of a racing carrousel, such as Cedar Downs Racing Derby at Cedar Point.

Notice: in 1995 the theme gets changed to the Simba's Savannah Speedway - With characters from hit movie The Lion King being present as Scar and the Hyenas replace the scary tigers, snakes, and the other hyenas.
