Viewing area for Wishes?

Is there a map of the viewing area for Wishes? With all the new construction going on It's hard to tell where to stand to watch Wishes. We were there on Tuesday and were told we couldn't stand anyplace we tried. It was as if we were being rushed to the exit. We even asked a few cast members and were given some very vague areas. But were told to move when we tried to watch from those areas. It was very frustrating.

You can stand pretty much anywhere on Main Street, except for the areas with artificial turf (reserved) and up against the fronts of the stores, since those sidewalks are needed for people to walk.

Where exactly were you standing that they asked you to move? There are a couple places in the hub that they keep clear so guests can cross and continue to move around the park.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
You can pretty much stand anywhere unless it is an area used for a walkway or the new turf that is reserved for FP+. So I'm not sure where you were standing and I'm guessing it was an area reserved or needed to stay a walkway for guests getting around the park. That is the only time we were ever asked to politely move. :)

There are a few trees that can get in the way, but the Tangled area is a great place to watch. Just face the path between PPF and IASW and you can see both sides. Liberty Square is a pretty great place to watch them as well.

we'd struggled for an uncrowded view on main street many times,so this feb we did the wishes desert party(pre price hike)which was undoubtably the best view of wishes wed seen. one time we did watch from fantasyland which was an interesting change!

Agreed with the Be Our Guest comment, You can position yourself in New Fantasyland so that the Beast's Castle is right below the fireworks which makes for great pictures, you can do the same with Prince Eric's Castle in front of the Mermaid ride! It's never crowded back there at that time and they play the music. If you're concerned about celebrate the magic, you can always go to the later show after the fireworks.
