A companion thread to the UK attraction rumors found here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/possible-attraction-in-uk-pavilion.925031/

An overall summary of what the attraction will be:
  • Anywhere from B-D 'ticket'
  • not a maze
  • definitely a ride
  • but not a spinner (no Merry Go Round, no Ferris Wheel)
  • may or may not be themed to Mary Poppins, but it isn't the current frontrunner
I've listed all of the possible UK IPs. You may vote for 2 options. For the sake of clarity (and space), 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, and Mary Poppins will each be one IP, instead of the original and the remakes being listed separately.

Martin just denied Toad coming back. That's the second outright denial of an IP (while other insiders have said Poppins isn't the frontrunner, Spirit flat out said it isn't coming). I'm still leaving it in the poll though.
Your little poll is having the desired effect of ferreting out the truth... good job!

Unfortunately, I can't edit the options, so Toad's staying, despite not returning to WDW.

With 46 votes in so far, Poppins is the clear frontrunner, and I wish that Disney would do a poll like this for their guests. Toad and Alice are both receiving over 1/5th of the vote (and now everyone can see that I'd like an attraction based around 101 Dalmatians).

I'll take an updated longer version of Marry Poppins from the Great Movie Ride...

This is exactly what I'd like to see. A Mary Poppins dark ride, either trackless or a boat (imagine a boat ride that takes place "in the English Channel"), with several AA-driven scenes from the movie. Step in Time, the Penguin Dance sequence, the bank scene, and even Tuppence (imagine a bunch of AA pigeons) would make for decent scenes in a ride like this. I don't even mind if they do something revolving around Returns with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda - I'm completely fine with that. I've got a ton of confidence in Returns given the talent involved and I'm sure it'll provide plenty of fodder for a project like this.

I know it's been discussed in the other thread, but I'm a little surprised that Brave isn't getting close-to-equal numbers with Poppins. It's the most recent film of the bunch (minus the Burton Wonderland films or the Poppins sequel), and Merida's got a float in the parade (and maybe a M&G?).

The problem with Brave - to me at least - is that I really do not want another Princess themed attraction in WS. Along with that, I don't think it screams UK to me, which Alice/Mary/101 Dalmatians do. I just want to know what it is already :p

Mary Poppins or Alice in Wonderland. Would prefer Mary Poppins... But it would also be cool to have a completely updated version of Disneyland's dark ride with full moving AAs.
