Thanx for the info man, any experiences u can share???

We can share one... In July of 2005, we did our first "summer" trip to Disney. It was incredibly hot, and we were miserable. Somehow, we stumbled into the Tune-in Lounge. Wife and I got a cold beer as we relaxed in the Air Conditioning. Our kids were 5 and 11 at the time, and they needed a break too.

The place was crowded, but cleared out quickly when everyone (but us) went into the 50's Prime Time to eat. We asked the bartender if we and the kids could sit at the bar. He said "sure." He then talked us into a couple of snacks, some fun drinks for the kids with light-up ice cubes, and a few more beers for Dad!

We had fried cheese and a plate of baked 'Smores that you would die for! Needless to say, we were much more happy to tackle the rest of the afternoon after the great snacks (and a couple of cold beers).

We always consider the Tune-in Lounge as our family's "secret spot," and have only shared the story of our special place to a few friends. Looks like the word is out now, though.

Hope you enjoy! We'll be back in Disney in 2 weeks, and our kids (now 16 and 10) have already started talking about the plate of 'Smores.

Wow, quite the bump here, but...

Two years ago we scrambled into the 50's PT looking for a place to get out of the rain. The wait was 25-30 minutes, and the four of us passed the times with very nice drinks, with the kids watching TV and the parents enjoying the bar and sights around it. A very enjoyable place to pass some time.
