She slams into a mattress....I mean "lands" on top of the of the Tomorrowland Noodle Station. She flys every night weather permitting.

i wonder how she's not seen landing
Her landing point is close to the back of the building and can not be seen from the majority of the park. In fact I do not know of a place in MK that is not back stage that you can see her landing pad from.

From Tink's pint of view it is a pretty long flight.

It makes me wonder if my avatar picture was taken form her launch pad prior to the installation of the wire?

A friend of mine was a CM. He said that Tink makes 500 bucks a night for that ride down the cable. I think I would put on the wings for that!!

The last time we watched Wishes, we were right under the wire. We looked up and swear we saw a bit of a 5 o clock shadow (though knowing disney policies, that's impossible)

Ever since, my wife and I have referred to Tink as TINKER BEARD! SCOURGE OF THE DISNEY SEAS! (said in your best scurvy pirate voice. ARR!)

Man, so would I. But somehow I think the sight of a fat guy screaming his way down a wire is not quite the "magic" they're trying to create.

Aroleggim:
Tinker is not seen landing because of the position of the land pad, like another post said, and I could be wrong but, I think Tinker has a on/off switch to turn here wings off when she/he gets close to landing. (and I say HE because sometimes it is a guy that makes the flight!)
If you go on Bing.com(MAPS) and look at the Noodle Station roof you will see a small landing pad with scaffolding near it rising from the back of the building! This is where Tinker lands each night. At $500 a night, who wouldn't do it nowadays in this economy. Even though I am afraid of heights, I certainly would do it! and if something goes wrong on my trip, I would make sure I stuffed my money into my pocket!
Could you imagine getting paid $500 in cash just before you took the leap and then all your money starts floating to the crowd below? Now THAT would be a bummer!:ROFLOL:
