There are animals dying everywhere.
Why? I am bringing up a topic that is true.
And I'm sure it has nothing to do with your other threads....
It's true. Here's the source. They make it pretty clear that he's dying:
Very sad. His trainers talk about him being a very sweet whale and he always seemed that way in person. He's a SeaWorld Orlando staple. It would be weird without him - he's so impressive and beautiful.
Is this JPatton's other account?
Look at my source a few posts up, it's legit and a lot of news sources are talking about it.
Good news Tili is getting better.
That's good to hear! I feel like either he may be getting slightly better but is still expected to die, or SeaWorld played it up in that video to show him getting better so they could seem like heros for saving him? It's just odd to me that they were crying and stuff in that video, I was actually surprised they went that far and showed that. The way they were talking, I was expecting him to die any day.
April 18, 2016 – Many of you have been asking for an update on Tilikum, one of the orcas at SeaWorld Orlando. We spoke with trainers and veterinarians today and here’s the latest update from Director of Animal Training Kelly Flaherty-Clark:
“As we’ve noted from the onset, Tilikum has some good days and some not so good days. He recently had a few of the not so good days in succession. Over the weekend and today his appetite improved a good deal, and we are encouraged by his increased engagement with trainers. Because he had some rough days over the past week, he is in the medical pool where trainers, care staff and veterinarians can monitor him around the clock, and offer him the care and attention he deserves. We know that his fans want him to feel better, and are cautiously optimistic that he will maintain this trend so they can see him soon. Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes. It means a lot to the trainers, veterinarians and staff.”
Tilikum will continue to receive the world-class care that SeaWorld is known for. Keep checking back to SeaWorldCares.com for the latest official updates on Tilikum. And be sure to check out more about Tilikum, as well as the rest of SeaWorld’s orcas, on our Orca Profile Pages.
As of July 27th, Tilikum is still alive.
I tried to find anything about his status, but am unable to find out whether he is dead or alive as of 12/3/2016. Anyone have any information?
He is very much a live. He is also back in the shows in the splash segment. Usually does only 1 show a day but he has been there and doing well.
