Pre-Trip Think the undoable and do the unthinkable

I have some great news! Last November we decided not to go back to WDW in October 2015. The flights from Amsterdam to Orlando were much more expensive so we decided to postpone it to 2016. Maybe some short trips to DLP and a summer vacation in Southern Europe was what we wanted to do!

But when we got married in 2010 we said that in the year we are married 5 years we go to Florida!

Then we try to find a decent summer vacation and well.... when we compared it to the prices we have to pay for a WDW trip in October..... :)

So we thought, what the heck! Let's do it! And do it even better than last October! Let's go into a Disney hotel! And we are married 5 years by the time we are in WDW!

So guess what, we booked our trip for October 2015! WDW here we come again! We booked a room in the All Star Movie Resort from October 16th until October 24th :)

Update 02-02-2015: When we booked the trip we tried to book a room in the Port Orleans French Quater, but it was all fully booked. But last Friday I found out that the resort was open for bookings again. So I called the travel agency and guess what?? We upgraded to Port Orleans!!!!!!!

Update 24-06-2015: Guess what :) We booked another WDW trip! October 2016 will be the second future visit!! And with a lot of advantages :) 200$ gift card, free Memory Maker, Ultimate tickets for 14 days for the price of 7 and a free dining plan! And this time we are staying at Port Orleans River Side!!

Me, my wife Ria and our daugther Sacha (last time we went with a group of 7, now just our family)

We are really thrilled we are coming back to WDW! The feeling is very good but is getting better by the day!

So another time for a huge update :) Still 114 days left before we hit WDW in Ocotber 2015. But guess what, we booked another WDW trip for October 2016 :) On the 14th of October we will arrive for a 8 day trip at PORS :) and we have quite some benefits from Disney UK for the 2016 trip! Gift card with $200, free Memory Maker, free quick dining plan and 14 day tickets for the price of 7, although we are just 8 days there!

So from now on we have 2 WDW trips in the planning!

Yeah that's the thing with WDW, especially for us Europeans... it isn't trip you plan fast :) Until last year we went to DLP almost 4 times a year, but we have been in WDW, well... DLP is on a lower level for us now..... so absolutely not 4 times a year.... I can guess we will do WDW once a year the next couple of years..... this year, like last year, during the halloween season! We also want to do a Christmas trip someday and we absolutely want to be in WDW during SSW! There are some plans developing for May 2017 :)

Our plans for ADR so far are BOG for a breakfast and Scifi for dinner!

No problem at all :) At least you read it now.... and guess I understand you are jealous. We were jealour for a couple of years since we only went to DLP.... so last year was great! So great that we have 2 trips in the plan :)

Thanks, we are feeling more than great that we have 2 trips! And it is great to explore Port Orleans at the fullest with a French Quarters stay and a year later the Riverside stay. And for the years to come..... a SWW, Christmas vacation and summer holidays are on the bucketlist :)

Kinda off topic update. We are considering a November 2015 stay to DLP :) We had an offer that is really great! A 2 night and 3 days stay in the park, with breakfast, for some nice prices. Depending on which hotel you wanna stay. For example, Hotel Cheyenne (Western style) for € 139,-- (USD 154,--) per person. And Disneyland Hotel for € 255,-- (USD 283,--) per person. And for this hotel that is a really marvelous price. The total amount for 4 pers would be € 1.040,-- (USD 1.155). And normally such a trip will be more dan € 2.000,-- (USD 2.221,--). We have to decide soon :) And of the extra's will be an extra opening for Studios park. It normally closes at 19.00 but for the Saturday evening the park will be open untill 23.00 just for the people who booked with this offer.

There is only one party on October 31st. It seemed fun, but I was disappointed it was the only one!

I love the Efteling! I went there last year on the first day of Winter Efteling, and I really want to go back! I didn't get to ride De Vliegende Hollander or Pirana, since they were closed for winter. Plus I want to ride the new Baron 1898!
