Well we are sadly back home now but boy did we have an amazing time! I am just getting started on the trip report but for the first time ever we went at Christmas! (I Have been loads to WDW but my now fiance has never been and I have never been at Christmas!!!! So on with the show....

Trip Report The we got engaged and went character nuts report!

So we started our trip on the 6/12/14 on a very cold and frosty morning in Scotland, Edinburgh! It was 3 am when we got up and my mum was picking us up at 4am to go to the airport! We were both very sleepy but made it to the airport both thinking we had packed everything! So Ola had actually packed everything but I had forgot to put my contact lenses in the bag but it didn't actually matter in the end! (usually Ola being the packing Queen and expert would check my bag, as I forget stuff, but because the bag had the ring in it I would not let her! hehe my own fault!). So we were off to the airport wrapped up and we checked in and went to the lounge to have breakfast! Everything went smoothly until we got to the plane! Coldness and Frost were not our friend on the way out! We had to wait 45 mins while they defrosted the wings in London Gatwick. We were not bothered just eager to get there! We got on our way and we both slept on the way out!
The plane trip was uneventful until we started to land! We had a false landing which made us both a little nervous but everything was fine! We got into to Orlando and Ola got her first blast of Florida Heat (she could not believe it... and they said it was not that humid!).We got on the Magical Express and headed to the Magical bubble of Walt Disney World! Ola was high as a Kite! (she was singing 'lets go fly a kite@ haha).

Its Coooooold here haha but it is nice to be back in Edinburgh! come back to Edinburgh it is awesome just WDW without the ears haha

We had an awesome dinner. Flying Fish is a family favourite! Next day we are off to the Magic Kingdom. I wanted to show Walts park first ( I know it is not really his but I wanted to show her his kind of dream in Florida!... and she was super happy!)....
So off to the Magic Kingdom we go... we got there abouts 10 am and headed in (we had tickets for the christmas party at night!) It was the perfect day ... we had organised our fastpass + for peter pan, thunder mountain and pirates before lunch at the crystal palace. Crowds were light so we literally walked on everything so fastpass + was pointless hehe. We Had Lunch at the Crystal Palace which Ola Loved. WE had a break and headed back to the hotel for a swim before going back to the christmas party.

Congratulations on your engagement! Christmas time in the parks is lovely we went a few years ago.
We got the Monorail back to Epcot and walked around before having a wee swim and a rest! The Christmas Party was awesome! (not as good as the halloween party but still awesome!) We hit most of the rides we missed earlier on apart from Splash as it got a little cold and we didn't want to get wet! Ola loved most of the rides! Well apart from Space mountain which terrified her! (and at this point she still wanted to go on the tower of terror!) For dinner we had turkey legs which watched the amazing christmas fireworks! It started to rain a little but because it was dark now and it was very light rain it was like it was snowing. I didn't take pictures of any of the fireworks shows as for once I wanted to enjoy them without being behind a camera lens! A couple of downsides of our Magic Kingdom Day were the Haunted Mansion was closed for refurb, we didn't do Splash or Hall of Presidents or Its a Small World. Just didn't have time, there is always next year! Also Ill never try do the MK in one day again as we were exhausted but that was just because Ola was sooo excited. Time for some pictures.....
After our amazing day at Discovery Cove we had a quick shower and headed to Epcot for dinner at Teppan Edo (think that is how you spell it hehe). Epcot was dead as it had been raining all day so we hit a few rides as we had a couple of hours...
A thousand points to anyone that can tell me what language that is!!!!! Dinner was awesome and we loved it. Ola was very impressed and we met some lovely people at the table!

Magic Kingdom - I wish Ola didn't have to see all the construction work in the Hub, but it was not such an eye sore as I expected!
I took a bum bag and a rucksack for going round the parks, and I actually just ended up taking the rucksack around as it was awesome, and my pockets weren't full of everything!
We had the dinning plan which we used everything bar one quick service and one snack it saved us a tun of money you just have to use it right!
