Another thread got me thinking as it was talking about Fantasyland being blocked in preventing further expansions.

If Disney wished to absolutely max out the space available in and around MK they could add a whopping 21 new attractions.

Tommorrowland Phase 1 - 4 new attractions (removing 1)
Tommorrowland Phase 2 - 1
Adventureland Phase 1 - 3
Adventureland Phase 2 - 4
Frontierland Phase 1 - 2
Frontierland Phase 2 - 3
Fantasy Land Phase 2 (phase 1 is already complete) - 4

Along with a true Main Street Arcade (as we dont know what the current bypass will look like and we know its not close to the scope of the disneyland paris arcade.

You would need to work around the train.

there would be alot of things to work around, i'd say the train is the least of their worries, but its totally possible, just take the paths up and over it, or take the train up and over like is done on main street. and theme the backs of the buildings with some rockwork/murals

I was thinking since now they're expanding the hub, and "improving guest flow", maybe they should get around to building all the things they "said" they were going to build, plus some things that they should just do, like give "it's a small world" a decent façade, and leave Maelstrom alone by putting Frozen in MK

IASW-MagicValley.jpg

another persons ideas on expanding MK, this plan avoids the fireworks zone..

though i'm pretty sure its a small world would completely fall apart if they tried to move it and would have to be completely redone which would also destroy it.

though i do agree that frozen should be at mk not epcot.

changed the fantasy land expansion to villans land!!

this solves the fire problem!!

i re did part of my drawing roughly, allowing a safety lake in case of a super serious explosion or something.. and then do a green roof with a sprinker system.. and plan to water the plants during the fireworks shows.. and then no fire!!

Tomorrowland Phase 1 only with another addition (including replacements for Stitch, Buzz and Laugh Floor) -
  1. Wreck-it Ralph Grand Prix: a Radiator Springs Racers style attraction with two sides (Sugar Rush for Fantasyland, and Hero's Duty for Tomorrowland). Both sides feature extensive rockwork, lavish sets and add kinetic energy to their respective lands. - Hero's Duty side - 40", Sugar Rush side - 34"
  2. Flying Saucers: the Disneyland classic is brought to Tomorrowland with a twist. Fully enclosed and given a UFO with alien AAs in the middle, this flat ride brings the cosmos to life
  3. UFO Encounter: the E-ticket KUKA Arm dark ride concept meant for Tokyo Disneyland's forgotten Sci-fi City concept. - 52"
  4. Voyage Thru Time: using time travel, this trackless dark ride gives Tomorrowland guests a tour of the various different eras from our past and the future (no height requirement) details on this could easily be worked out later
  5. TRON: Lightcycle Transit: as a high-speed alternative to the PeopleMover, this enclosed motor-bike thrill ride races around Space Mountain, and the new attractions within Tomorrowland phase. The Grid is brought to life using projection screens within the ride vehicle windows - 48"
  6. House of the Robinsons - an overlay for Buzz Lightyear that takes you on a zany tour of the Robinson home from Meet the Robinsons. This attraction would feature scene elements that are activated by the usage of the gun in the ride vehicle. This would feature tributes to past Tomorrowland attractions throughout the ride.
  7. Alien Encounter - an updated version of the original attraction replaces Stitch
  8. Plateau's Intergalactic Revue - the unbuilt stage show would go where Laugh Floor is (Laugh Floor would get relocated to Pixar Place)
  9. Astro Orbiter is given some sprucing up and elevation. The ride vehicles emerge from craters.
  10. Space Mountain gets a steampunk retheme that takes guests on the first widespread commercial space flight that goes awry as asteroids begin to strike. Using projections, the shuttle zooms around debris, the Moon, and even travels through a wormhole into another dimension briefly. - still has a 44" height requirement
  11. PeopleMover and Carousel of Progress each get some standard sprucing up\
Tomorrowland Phase 2 -
  1. Scientifically Fiction Institute of Animals - a mixture of quirky walkthrough and play area. This addition would include various new animals devised by Imagineering, while favorites like Stitch are also there

Expanded Adventureland (Agrabah mini-land along with jungle additions)
  1. Aladdin's Grand Escapades - Aladdin enlists the riders' help to defend Agrabah from Jafar's nefarious ways. Combining Peter Pan's suspended track, E.T.'s grand sets, and the sensation of flight from Soarin', this is a must-do for any Aladdin fan - 40"
  2. Tarzan's Jungle Paradise - a new play area with ropes, ziplines, and plenty of adventurous activites for young guests to do
  3. The Magic Carpets are relocated to the Agrabah mini-land
Expanded Adventureland Phase 2 (Mysterious Island and Jungle Temple)

  1. Fire Mountain - a high-speed inverted/floorless coaster that takes guests on an expedition into the most treacherous volcano in all of the world. Guests journey inside the volcano and tour its caverns until an avalanche sends them off course (mini-high speed section). They come to a stand-still as their tour guide attempts to comfort them. Suddenly, the "wire" pulling their "ski cars" up "snaps" allowing a transition between suspended and floorless. A lava monster similar to the one in Journey to the Center of the Earth appears and knocks the guide off a cliff with a fireball. Looking at the ride vehicle, it takes a step and the vehicle starts to roll forward. As they dangle over the 120 foot cliff into pitch darkness, the car is turned around by a moving platform it locks onto. The lava monster has grabbed hold of it. With a special track hidden from the naked eye, the lava monster pulls them up and then "tosses" them down due to a launch from 0 to 40 in 2 seconds. A loop, two corkscrews and a zero-g roll await until the vehicle careens to an opening - their only escape until the rocks "fall". A 70 foot drop outside and some twists finish off the ride - 54"
  2. Unknown Aztec flat ride by a newly built temple - 42"
  3. The Adventurer's Club - an indoor exhibit showing what the accomplishments of some of the world's best adventurers
  4. Untitled Jeep ride that interwines with Jungle Cruise - waterfalls, rockwork, a temple, and Fire Mountain are all incorporated - no height requirement

I'll come up with more later
