Late to the game, but mickeyfan here to talk about my dream resort, The Disneyland Brazil Resort. This all new resort will cater to the ever expanding Brazilian market for Disney with a Walt Disney World styled resort about 20 miles outside of Rio de Janero. Five phases will be planned for the resort, each one focused on a new and exciting park, each with its own phases for an ever expanding experience that only Disney can provide.
  • Disneyland Brazil Park
  • Disney's Tomorrow City: a cross between Walt's original EPCOT and the EPCOT that was built, featuring the home of all resort operations offices, and apartment buildings, as well as the quality attractions and entertainment found in a Disney park
  • Disney's Land of Stories: a park inspired by world mythology
  • Disney's Cinematic Adventure: a park specifically built to showcase Disney's newest and most popular IPs
  • SEABase: a Disney Springs styled experience themed to the home base of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers
As you can see, it will be a long road ahead, so get ready because The Disneyland Brazil Resort is coming very soon.

This sounds really good!

If I had any suggestions, I would add another land into the park. Maybe you could do something like Discovery Bay? That would be awesome! :D

This is only the first phase of the park. I plan on 4 expansions in several plots of land set up specifically for those expansions, between epic takes on classic rides and two new lands, one that will be an extension of a land in another park, much like WWOHP's Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.

Here we go

The Disneyland Brazil Resort is an all new resort planned for Brazil a few miles out of Rio de Janero. When the resort opens, it will consist of Disneyland Brazil Park and three resorts, the 5-star Disneyland Resort Hotel nestled right outside of the park's berm with Victorian splendor across the entire resort, Disney's Carnivale Resort, a festive hotel themed to famous festivals from around the world featuring Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, Venetian Carnivale, Brazilian Carnivale, and Trinidad Carnival, and the Dreams Come True Resort is themed to Disneyland Brazil itself. With wings based on each land of the park, the resort is sure to be a popular spot for visitors.

The magic starts on Main Street BR, a look into the past filled with hidden surprises all around.

Main Street BR

street-carnival-suburban-madness-rio-de-janeiro_94076_990x742.jpg

Everyday is Carnivale on Main Street BR, a window to the past when Brazil had just become free of Portuguese rule in 1815. This historic street is filled with old buildings and include some familiar such as Catete Palace, which holds The Hall of Heroes, an animatronic show featuring three of Brazil's greatest national heroes, Luis Alves de Lima e Silva, Duke of Caxias, Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier, and Jose Bonifacio de Andrade e Silva. Each gives a speech before ending in a rousing rendition of Brazil's national anthem. A replica of the National Museum holds Town Hall, where guests may find information about the park, as well as meet up for private tours with tour guides. Further down Main Street is The Walt Disney Story Presents: How Disneyland Came to Brazil, a small museum of plans and the future of the resort, as well as a film about Walt Disney. The Emporium lies all along the West Side of the street, a huge store where almost every souvenir in the park can be purchased. Along the East Side of the street, The Main Street Bakery where delicious treats can be found and The Main Street Plaza, a full service eatery serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with traditional Brazilian cuisine. Connected to the Plaza is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, where hand spun ice cream treats and signature sundaes can be purchased. The Main Street Crystal Arts carries several gorgeous hand blown crystal figures, including a large 1/100th scale figure of the Enchanted Fairytale Castle. Art of Cinema is the place where anyone can find the newest and greatest pieces from Disney Animation, from concept art to hand painted cells, both replica and real pieces. Also at Art of Cinema is The Disney Gallery, where original art based on Disney favorites is showcased and put on sale. The Casey is a quick service restaurant with traditional Brazilian snacks and street food such as moqueca, brigadeiros, and pão de queijo. Entertainment includes Capoeira demonstrations and character meet and greets in special costumes, as well as the final stretch of the parade route and excellent viewing of the nighttime spectacular, Disney's Symphony of Dreams. At the very end of Main Street BR, there stands the ever present Partners statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, looking out on the people visiting the Disneyland Brazil Park, beckoning guests to come further into The Gardens of Dreams.

The Gardens of Dreams
sdl-garden12friendsart.jpg
The Gardens of Dreams is the hub of the park. The land takes place in seven gardens, each with their own individual theme. We start in the Gardens of the Past, where the beauty of Main Street turns into a romantic view of a mansion garden. The Greenhouse, a Brazilian Steakhouse is designed to look like the mansion's greenhouse. Mickey's Secret Garden lies inside as well, where Mickey Mouse meets all his fans. We then move to the small Parade Garden, where most parades step off, themed to the currently running regular daytime and nighttime parades, Disney's Tales of Enchantment Parade and Nightfall Fantasy Parade with topiaries of several floats lined up around the street between nestled between carts where you can purchase popcorn and Mickey bars. The Parade Garden turns into a tropical forest, the Garden of Adventure, where trees and flowers from the forests of South America, Asia, and Africa are nestled among winding pathways, that all lead to the entrance to the Land of Adventure. You now have the choice. Continuing North will lead you to the Garden of Fantasy, where whimsical topiaries and beautiful roses and lilies make a romantic atmosphere, especially at night. Continuing to the East will lead to the Music Garden, where, in the middle the magical musical 3D show Mickey's Philharmagic plays, which is now a faux-randomized experience where one of ten films including the original are randomly selected to keep the clean segways into each segment, along with the greeting show Donald's Funny Harmony, playing three times a day, which bursts into the paths with The Disneyland Brazil Band and some favorite Disney Characters.

The Tomorrow Garden is where lies some of the strangest looking alien plants ever seen. This area is where WDI is given free reign to make up the strangest, most alien plants they could think of and bring those ideas to life. Those six gardens all lead up to the Castle Garden, where the Enchanted Fairytale Castle towers over a stage and all the people who are here to experience Disneyland Brazil, with a terraced seating area with nice benches can be found with excellent views of the Enchanted Fairytale Castle and Castle Stage. The Enchanted Fairytale Castle is surrounded by a moat that stretches all around the gardens and into the other lands of the park. Inside the Castle lies The Princess Fantasy Hall, a next gen meet and greet experience that holds every single member of the Disney Princess line up from Snow White all the way to Moana. There are three lines, one for Walt's Princesses, one for the Renaissance Princesses, and one for the Revival Princesses. Each Princess will have her own set with interactive elements inside. Sometimes, even the Princes join in with their princesses in meeting their fans. Also inside the castle is The Enchanted Storybook, a unique character dining restaurant where there is no set character list. Each sitting provides a different set of characters. One sitting might be Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, and Prince Charming, while the next might have the Disney Villains. You'll never know who you'll meet till you step in. Finally, Disney's Magical Celebration occurs twice a day in front of The Enchanted Fairytale Castle, an epic 60 minute show where many Disney Stories step off the screen and into real life with fountains, fire, and performers. And, every night, a magical journey takes place with Disney's Symphony of Dreams, a grand spectacular taking place on and above the castle, where we discover that anything we dream really can come true, all hosted by Mickey Mouse himself.

I decided to do a rough mockup of the Gardens just to show my idea of how it is laid out. The regular parade route will go into the Land of Adventure via Adventure Garden, move into the Land of Fantasy, around the Castle Garden and stage, back into Land of Fantasy, through Land of Tomorrow, and back into the Gardens through Tomorrow and Music Gardens, around Philharmagic and through the Garden of the Past and down Main Street. Donald's Funny Harmony will move up Main Street and into Music Garden in front of Philarmagic when it arrives and then turn around and go back down Main Street when the show concludes.

Land of Adventure

Note, the experiences, rides, and attractions of the three main lands will be phased.
Phase 1
Through the Garden of Adventure, enter the Land of Adventure, where mythic jungles give way to a land of legend. Entering in, you'll find Adventure River and a giant tree, the icon of the land. Board the Adventure Isle Rafts to get to Adventure Isle, where you can explore the Adventurer's Outpost and Tarzan's Treehouse. Further along the lake is the Agrabah Bazar, where Aladdin and Genie meet guests and Aladdin's Flying Carpets soar around one end. On the other end, the Arabian Nights store sells merchandise all centered around the attractions of the Land of Adventure. Pirates of the Caribbean: Search for the Map, an original take on the classic Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack Sparrow only makes a small cameo takes part of the northern part of the land while the Haunted Mansion takes the rest of the north part of the land. The South part of the land is taken up by an abbreviated version of the Jungle Cruise, a small preview of what's to come. Aloha Paradise, nestled between the future plot of land for Tarzan and the Jungle Cruise, is where you can find the ever popular Dole Whip.
Phase 2
Phase 2 is the expansion of the Southern end of the Land of Adventure, with the Jungle Cruise expanded into the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. Land of Adventure Jungle Cruise. The expanded version will be similar to Tokyo Disneyland's Jungle Cruise redo and involve night cruises and a journey into the all new Temple of the Ancient Mirror.

Across from the Jungle Cruise, the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd has established the
Jungle Canteen, where exotic food is served on the plate (as opposed to just being thrown on the table) by the Jungle Cruise's own skippers. The Temple of the Ancient Mirror is a miniland set inside an ancient temple. Inside is Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Ancient Mirror, an updated version of the rides at Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea using an all new trackless EMV ride system. Join Indiana Jones on an expedition to find an ancient mirror that can supposedly show the future of the one who gazes upon it. The final part of the Land of Adventure expansion is Tarzan: Journey of the Wild, a nonstop inverted rollercoaster that makes us feel like we're swinging through the vines with Tarzan.
Phase 3
Phase 3 expands the land to the West with two new rides and a restauraunt. The south part of the expansion adds to the Temple of the Ancient Mirror's facade and puts in a Jungle Book dark ride, Mowgli's Magnificent Adventure. The Adventure Point is a lunch and dinner spot showing two different shows. During lunch, Moana's Magical Luau takes everyone on a journey to find Maui with Moana, Pua, Mickey, and Minnie. Dinner is a more sophisticated affair with Mickey and Minnie's Polynesian Paradise.

Finally, the legend of how the gods of fire and water met is given life in Legend Mountain, a flume ride that will serve as the park's Splash Mountain.

Phase 4
Phase 4 only includes one addition to the Land of Adventure, Fire Mountain. The famous abandoned concept is finally brought to life on the shores of Adventure River.

I still think Indy should have a Sallah friend for the safety stuff, and on the radio stuff while Indy is in the ride like in Disneyland & Tokyo Disneysea?

Land of Fantasy
Phase 1
Past the Enchanted Fairytale Castle, across the bridges on both sides of the castle, from the jungles of the Land of Adventure or the hopeful Land of Tomorrow, there is a place where all the stories from our childhood come to life. This is the Land of Fantasy. This land will give way to several attractions, shows, and fantasy come to life. Entering the land from the Land of Adventure, you'll see Peter Pan's Flight. This all new updated classic will be similar to Shanghai's version. Throughout the land, the Royal Merry Makers perform mini shows for guest's enjoyment. The Fantasy Carousel lies in the center of the land as the land's icon. Seven Dwarves Mine Train updates the classic attraction for guests of all ages to enjoy with two new show scenes featuring the Old Hag and a Happily Ever After. Alice in Wonderland is the second dark ride of the land, a trip through the amazing world of Wonderland. The final dark ride of the land is Winnie the Pooh and the Search for Hunny, a trackless experience based on an expanded version of Pooh's Hunny Hunt.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant takes the northern most point of the land at park opening. Several stores all around the Land of Fantasy give merchandise exclusive to the land and the Fantasy Faire quick service restaurant provides classic favorites. Finally, every day at noon, several of our Disney friends come storming out of the castle in the Pop In. The group will normally consist of the three groups of characters that will be meeting at The Enchanted Storybook, plus 5 other characters.

Phase 2
Phase 2 expands the land with two rides and one restaurant. Alice in Wonderland is a unique trip through the world of Wonderland, going in and out and through and around and upside down the strange land. Alice's Mad Tea Party is the classic tea cups given new life. Right beside it is the Queen of Hearts Royal Banquet Hall, a full service restaurant themed to the Queen of Hearts's castle.
Phase 3
Phase 3 brings an all new ride, a new take on a classic, an enchanting theatre, and a whole new world to explore. Belle's Adventure: A Tale as Old as Time takes guests on a magical journey to the Beast's castle through a magic mirror and into the world of Beauty and the Beast. Gaston's Tavern is built on the border of the Land of Fantasy and a future land to be revealed soon. Finally, the Enchanted Theatre plays host to Mickey and the Enchanted Mirror, a spectacular show that takes us on a journey into imagination to find happily ever after. When completed, the Land of Fantasy will have the largest footprint of the five original lands of Disneyland Brazil.

Land of Tomorrow, Discovery Bay, and Shadowland Forest will be up within the week. Also, I just noticed that I never said that 'it's a small world' will be at the entrance to Tomorrow City's World Gateway.

Land of Tomorrow
f0114b91-56d7-4c65-a442-aa480894e6ad-2060x1236.jpeg
Beyond the Garden of Tomorrow, the hopes and dreams of the future lie in a spectacular city. The Land of Tomorrow is where anything you dream can happen with mind bending rollercoasters, a trip into space, a journey with superheroes, and a look at what's to come to the Disneyland Brazil Resort.
Phase 1
Phase 1 of Land of Tomorrow gives way to one of the most densely packed areas in the park. On the border of the Garden of Tomorrow lies the unique Jet Pack Spin. This spinner attraction uses a new system where three spinners load at once and then, once starting, the spinners turn in the opposite direction of the jet packs, giving a unique view of the whole Land of Tomorrow and Gardens of Dreams. On the opposite side lies the Land of Tomorrow Terrace, a quick service restaurant that provide the best burgers and fries in the whole park. In the Land of Tomorrow Showcase, an all day dance party with favorite characters like Mickey and Minnie provides guests with an area to get out of the heat and recharge for a bit. The largest show building in the park holds four very different experiences. First up is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Blast, a dark ride where we help Buzz Lightyear himself defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg once and for all. Next is the Disneyland Brazil Resort Preview Center, where people can discover what's new and coming to the ever expanding resort. Further along is the Land of Tomorrow Theatre, where The Avengers Stunt Show Spectacular plays five times daily. Join Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, Black Widow, The Incredible Hulk, Captain Marvel, and Hawkeye in a spectacular 30 minute showdown against the evil forces of Loki. Finally, the Land of Tomorrow Greeting Port gives guests the chance to meet with Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, the Avengers, and the Stars of Star Wars, Tron, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Treasure Planet. The last attraction of the land is Space Mountain, a dark roller coaster through space with close encounters with asteroids, planets, and comets. Space Mountain will be a combination of different architectures and layers that will seem cobbled together from the future expansions of the land and the current Tomorrowland movie-esque design with sail punk influences on one side, bricks built in on the other, and alien architecture looking like it's taking hold of the mountain. At the exit to Space Mountain is Spaceport Goods, where gifts and souvenirs exclusive to the Land of Tomorrow can be found.
Phase 2
Phase 2 of the Land of Tomorrow is a mini-land, The Grid. Step into Flynn's Arcade, where classic video game cabinets are located before Space Paranoids opens up every five minutes in a fantastic 2 minute light show. After the door to The Grid opens, get in line for the Tron MCP Power Attack, a thrilling roller coaster that starts with a tour of the Grid itself before the MCP takes control and tries to destroy us. The second ride of The Grid is Escape from the Grid, a fast paced dark ride that takes us through the environments of Tron and Tron: Legacy. Finally, The Flying Lightcycle provides a unique dining experience that recreates the club of Tron: Legacy in a quick service restaurant.

Phase 3
Phase 3 celebrates two underrated sci-fi classics from the Disney Animated Canon. First, Treasure Planet Explorers allows us to explore the title location of Treasure Planet with Jim Hawkins himself. The sail punk inspired building is layered under Space Mountain. In front of Treasure Planet Explorers, the RLS Legacy lies in dry dock, awaiting visitors to have a dining experience aboard a real life starship. Then, The Atlantis Submarine Voyage takes us on a voyage to the lost continent of Atlantis with guide Milo Thatch. Pass through perilous traps and guards all to discover the beautiful city and back home in time for tea.

Phase 4
Only two additions are made here. The Land of Tomorrow is expanded slightly to the North with Plectu's Intergalactic Alien Club, an two level omnimover attraction that takes guests on a tour of the hottest alien nightclub in the galaxy. Next to it is the Astronomer's Observatory, a new Signature addition where patrons dine in magical wonderful splendor among a massive observatory.
