Splitting dinner bill

We will be arriving next week for our big family trip. We have multiple dinner reservations for all 10 of us (garden grill, chef mickeys and Sanaa). Can we split the check so each family pays their own portion of the bill? And if so, can we charge it to our room (each family has their own room)?

Yep! You can split the bill and pay how you'd like (including charging to the room), but you will still have automatic gratuity added for being a large party.

Make sure to let your server know at the very beginning of your meal how you want to split up the bill. It will make it easier for the server and a lot more efficient if they know ahead of time how to group the different food on the check.

Thanks everyone! This will make it soooo much easier than trying to figure out how much to reimburse each other if one family paid the whole check.

Well, yes, you can.... but it must be mentioned, WDW (or anywhere else) - "split the check" is pretty much the staff's worst nightmare .

Agreed it is a complete pain in the butt for the place... Wish peoplewould figure out money issue before coming.. Many nice places will only let you split the check once down the middle...The 5 checks ect and trying to figure out who ordered what should be illegal.

You don't split the check. You ask the server to create separate checks at the beginning.
