Hi all, i was surfing the netand found thru screamscape a great Disney site called utilidors, and was listening to their Disney Radio, and they put the soundtrack from the show splashtacular at EPCOT, i searched and only found that Splahstacular was a show at Epcot imported from Tokyo 10th year anniversary like Cinderellabration (20th anniversary of Disneyland Tokyo), i went to Epcot in 1994 but dont remmeber anything called Splashtacular, only remember the Barbie Parade but not splashtacular, can anyone tell em where was located? confirm the 2 shows anniversary dates that they were for in Tokyo? and anyone has some pictures? THANKS ALL!

I remember seeing Splashtacular! on television during the "For the Children" concert time-period in the early 90s. I'm thinking '92 or '93.Real_Epcot_Fan said:
It took place in Communicore, around the fountain, with Mickey, Chip and Dale, Donald, and the gang. Mickey was on hand in this "Early Fantasmic" to battle a giant beast (dragon?) from behind one of the Communicore buildings.

I think I remember seeing it on one of the Christmas or Easter parades. I know I've seen more info on it online, maybe on Intercot...let me check.
From what I remember, the show was very short lived because it caused a massive amount of congestion around the Communicore/Innoventions fountain. However, the distinctive silver "conehead' costumes were reused in Galaxy Search in the Magic Kingdom.
