Something very Interesting

ABC (Disney) and Weather Channel already have some kind of agreement where they share reporters/assets for on-air use. You'll see WxCh reporters on ABC when hurricanes/blizzards/etc hit; and you'll occasionally see ABC News reports on WxCh when weather becomes news (climate change stuff, etc)

So, does this mean that we'll be seeing Stacey do the Top 7 Weather events of the day. "Awesome Hail Storm"..."This tornado was way cool!"

TWC is a very lucrative network. Although Disney is likely bidding solely because of that, it may have some potential. If they can't find a sponsor to pay for the attraction, TWC's name would at least draw in guests.

In addition, there has been talk that TWC is looking to open some type of attraction here in Atlanta. That could be something Disney would want their hands in since tourism here in the ATL is picking up, and land in the city is pretty cheap comparatively.

When did Disney purchase a government agency?? Disney may have brokered a deal with NASA to sponsor Mission:Space but not buy it.

What??? You didn't hear??? This is part of Disney's long term goals: GLOBAL DOMINATION, one government agency at a time... next to purchase: THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH of the Federal Government.... :lookaroun

True. Theoretically, it could be more like a branding than a sponsorship, sort of like the ABC Sound Studio, or Animal Planet: Live at Universal.

Weather related attractions that have already happened in the world - Blizzard Beach, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Typhoon Lagoon..now brought to you by the Weather Channel..

Actually a weather related attraction at EPCOT is an interesting prospect. They could recruit the biggest weather geek on TV, WGN TV's Tom Skilling , he would be a great host for something there too.
