The rumor I kept hearing was the 17th which is tomorrow. I guess we'll see. I noticed the attraction sign went up today.

Weather here is supposed to be rough for the next 48 hours.. if the forecast pans-out, then Soft will hold until Saturday at the earliest

Headed into the MK today, everyone seems to think soft opening is today. Will keep you posted.

So work on the ride is effectively now "complete" construction wise i'm assuming if soft openings have a chance of happening at any moment now (as in the mountain and all the show elements are in place and it's basically ready to run at any moment if they so wish). I'm looking forward to videos, thanks in advance to anyone who gets some.

The parks been open for over an hour now and I'd assume we would have heard SOMETHING if the walls were down or CM's were standing out front.

Sounds like there's still some work being done to it. Guess we might still be a ways from soft openings if the walls are still up AND they're still fiddling with the track (though I would assume that the walls at this point are more to keep show scenes hidden and not because any major construction still needs doing around there).

Weather here is declining, and as I stated before, walls are still up. Workers were busy on the track and queen area. Nothing else to report.

Do walls mean no chance of a soft open today?

These park hours probably make it a bit harder to get walls down, too. I mean with the park open til 3am tomorrow with a park clear of around 4:30am, it's hard to get vehicles out there to even do that.

Can't remember the protocol, but for some reason I thought there was a general ridership order with new attractions, along the lines of:

1. Families of WDI/construction
2. Cast Member Only previews
3. AP Only previews
4. Soft Openings to public
5. Media Preview event
6. Grand Opening.

We haven't seen even seen group 1 on the ride yet, have we?

Walls always come down over night, and never during the guest hours. I can't see them running any soft openings with walls up.

Yep we are basically still at the WDI only rider phase.
