Soarin comparison

So, are the endings different for each of the parks the attractions are located in?

For example: Does California Adventure appear at the end of that version?

Wow. Thank you for this. It's a really interesting comparison.
On YouTube it shows the Disneyland California version ending in the Disneyland Park.
I still prefer the original score & the scents (anyone else find themselves inhaling deeply for the orange scent even when watching a video?).
Any thoughts or rumors about them showing the original film in one of the three theaters next year once the new film hysteria has worn off a little?

My pleasure i don't honestly think that would happen all they would do is just refilm the movie the old one is way to dated because it was filmed in the 80s or 90s

No
I just rode Soarin' Around the World for the first time on Sunday and I will say that the videos don't do it justice. The cinematography is absolutely unbelievable in the new version and while I did find myself missing the smell of orange groves and evergreen trees, I was surprisingly pleased with the new film.

Thanks for posting the video comparing the two though, that was really cool to see! :)

Does the seat still "pop up" a bit during the fireworks scene at the end? I enjoy the music from Soarin Over California, and I miss the golf ball coming at you.:(

I like the new version better... It feels a LITTLE less more like a video collage than the original with its transitions.. And I love the fact that the ending is at Epcot!

Funny, I find them both to be very much a collage... but the original still stayed together more cohesively simply because you knew it was just doing California... The new one could be said to be just doing the world... but if that's the case it misses too many things it shouldn't where as the California one seemed to really catch the main points of interest.

Thanks for ruining it for me as I wasn't watching the video. Next time add a spoiler alert. I am going to Guest Services to complain that some stranger on an internet forum ruined the ride for me. Maybe they will give me a freebie or something!!

Half kidding, half not. I can skim through and get a sense of love or hate without seeing the video.
Sorry not sorry..? Not really my fault. This whole website screams "spoilers," you should know that by now given you've been here since 2012. ;)

In no doubt they're both a collage.. and no doubt the California version definitely had a better pace/whathaveyou... I was simply saying that the transitions between video sections were better. It wasn't just an immediate cut to the next scene. It was a transition. If these little transitions were put into the California version, I think it would've been even better!

Although I found it strange that Soarin' in WDW was a tour of California, I really enjoyed "flying" into DLR and seeing Sleeping Beauty's Castle at night. I think the first time we rode it, I let out a little squeal when I realized where we were headed. Much to the embarrassment of my daughter. Can't wait to ride the new one. Thanks to the OP for the videos.
