I can neither confirm nor deny if were doing the Killers twist this season, but Jokers and I have been working behind the scenes trying to make the twists of the season as dramatic as possible. ;) :p

Due to a large portion of the cast being busy with the last round of House Cup, projects will now be due two days later on Sunday, July 3rd at 11:59 PM Eastern.

Sorry about that, but I wouldn't have been able to dedicate enough time to the team. Just out of curiosity, do you have an idea when season 14 will be?
Don't even worry about it. It happens all the time, and real life comes first, obviously.

And I don't believe we have a timeframe quite yet for Season 14, but tiki would be more of an authority on the exact answer to that.

@RMichael21 has locked down the Summer 2016 slot for his Amazing Race comp, so my best guess would be Summer 2017 for season 14 unless nobody fills the Spring 2016 slot that House Cup took up this year.

Just wanted to give a congrats to everyone finishing up House Cup today. I know a lot of you are waiting on the fences to participate in this until that's over with, and I can't wait to see what all you House Cup people have to offer your teams! :) Because the team's concepts have already been nailed down, @JokersWild and I thought it would be best if we made the first round non elimination so House Cup people can can acquainted with their teams moving forward! :)

Please have projects turned in by Sunday at midnight eastern time as planned and I'll be doing a solo podcast talking about my thoughts on the three concepts the teams turn in, as well as announcing project two. Speaking of which, see my avatar for a teaser of the project two prompt.

Tiki you have the Summer 2016 slot, cause you know its June, and your first project's due date is in July.
RM has locked down the Summer 2017 slot.
That leaves the Winter, Spring, and Fall slots open in 2017.

I thought RMichael wanted to do The Amazing Race next year. I'd be more than happy to take the summer 2016 slot, just want to make sure I'm not stepping on anyone's toes :)

Yep, definitely got it mixed up. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm VERY concerned about Team Mystic right now as it seems basically all the members of that team dropped off the face of the Earth. I know people were waiting for House Cup to end, but now that it's over I'd really appreciate if this team stepped it up. You're REALLY far behind the other two teams when it comes to brainstorming.

Projects are due in eight and a half hours, so get to work on the final stuff that needs to get done! I'll be going live with the podcast immediately after the projects are turned in where I'll be reviewing the projects, revealing the project two prompt, getting to the Walt's Vault events, and most importantly...Announcing this season's GAME CHANGING twist!

In the meantime, here is a picture of @monkey92514 as a monkey!

Dark Clouds, Blue Skies: A Team Mystic Presentation:

ALIEN: THE EXPERIENCE

alien0.jpg

With all the classic horror properties at Universal's disposal, it's a wonder how they haven't used them in major attractions. That changes today.

Alien is a horror classic-turned franchise beloved by many, revolving around a horrifying extraterrestrial creature killing and stalking the members of a spaceship crew in the far future. It's also very fit to be turned into a theme park attraction, with it's outer space setting and diverse yet horrid alien creatures.

parkmapwrbc.jpg

Soon to be located in the spacious plot in between Simpsons and Men In Black at Universal Studios Florida, Alien: The Experience will combine an immersive adventure with state-of-the-art dark ride/simulator technology.

So what are we waiting for? Let's check it out!

QUEUE:

Hidden by foliage and rockwork in the expansion pad lies a futuristic plaza, consisting of the main attraction and nearby shop. A large spaceport entrance sits in front. The main wall seems to be coated in strange ooze, reading Alien: The Experience, before splitting off into the stand-by and express lines.

alzoc_3_spaceport_interior_2_by_jimmu_tenno456.jpg

Walking through the spaceport doors, we see gates, terminals, and starships (projections through windows). Alas, we reach gate 348, it's multiple doors leading to the preshow theater on board Starship Nova.

Preshow:

Starship Nova is actually a theater like dome, containing a large IMAX screen. Basically, the preshow escorts guests through the cosmos before reaching Sevastopol Station. Along the way, the captain of the ship serves as a tour guide, pointing out the sights of the beautiful galaxy.

After docking, we disembark the ship and enter the somewhat decrepit space station.

space-station-3.jpg

The space station is in working condition, but appears to be run down. Wireless transportation vehicles run in front, escorting guests to their desired location on board. We are told to board these vehicles in order to get to the transportation docks.

Vehicles:

Combining the best of trackless and EMV ride technology, the vehicle will be able to move without a track while having the motion of Spider-Man. Disguised as futuristic trams, these vehicles are a core part of the ride experience.

Ride Experience:
The vehicles take off and head down a long, dark hallway, covered with machinery.

maintHall01.jpg

The ship captain communicates with you through the spaceport intercom, altering you of the unwanted presence of an alien creature on board, and tells you to report back to the ship. Our vehicles take a turn as a clank and a hiss appear to come from a nearby air vent.

Suddenly, the hall begins to rumble as the alien slithers across the vents... He has found you. Suddenly, as a brisk turn is taken, a vent falls down as black smoke drifts down. The horrifying head of the Xenmorph (an animatronic) peers down from the vent, hissing at us.

The captain tells you to hurry, but not before the power is cut off. The vehicles switch to manual override, bumping and spinning down the pitch-black halls of the space station. Suddenly, a room illuminates, as we approach a screen with one of the staff being picked up and eaten alive by the Xenmorph. Horrified, we take a brisk turn into the engine room.

The captain attempts to escort us to the docking bay, but not before the animatronic alien pops out of the engine and claws at our car. We spin around before hurrying out.

What follows is a minute-long claustrophobic experience through the spaceship halls, where the alien could pop out any moment and attempt to get on the car, spinning and bumping, using the EMV tech to its fullest potential.

The climax has a large screen in the docking bay, where the alien actually jumps onto your car and sprays alien ooze at you (water), but not before the captain shoots the alien off your car, telling you to use the big red button on your vehicle to open the hangar. After hitting the button, the Xenmorph meets a gristly end, soaring off into the vacuum of space.

After entering the bottom of the ship, we disembark off our trams, and head towards the exit, now back home in Florida after our exhilarating adventure on Alien: The Exprience.

Quoting this because for some reason the pictures aren't showing up in your main post. I won't knock any points off the presentation score, just wanted to call attention to the issue. :)
