Shoes at the Water Park

Do people usually wear water shoes at the water park? Does anyone go barefoot? Has anyone wore flip flops and just held them going down the slides?

I've seen water shoes...probably recommend. We wore flip flops but left them at our chair most of the time as we hit attractions in the vicinity. The ground does get hot so if water shoes are your thing, that's probably for the best! I don't recall seeing people holding their flip flops as they went on attractions...not sure if you can or can't do that. Hope this helps!

Definitely do not go barefoot. The pavement can get excruciatingly hot, so it'll burn your feet.

Take cheap flip flops. We always wear flip flops and leave them near the entrance to the slide and go back to get them. Usually stick them under a bush or something.

Water shoes all the way, then you don't have to put sneakers on and off for buses etc. I'm a New Englander, if I'm wearing flip flops I have a bar of soap in my hand as well.

I went barefoot in July ONCE...ouch

This time of year would not be as bad to be barefoot.

Blizzard Beach seems get hotter pavement than Typhoon lagoon or it that just me?

Yeah agree bloody wave took my daughter off her feet and she needed up with a scrapped thighs and bleeding knees! It's very strong in the shallows!
