There's a growing trend among bloggers and in other message boards, and well... my arm was twisted by a good friend of mine. I've decided to do a 365 photo project.

1 photo per day, every day for one year.

I started it last night, so here's the first one:

Taken on board the train during my commute home last night... the message in Spanish "today, more than ever" seemed appropriate to start this with.

Dude! Good start! I look forward to watching this hread. I miss going to visit your wonderful island...I was VERY lucky to stay on Isla De Culebra one month for Christmas and New Years...I really miss that and the wonderful people I met!

Day #2. This is a construction site in Hato Rey that I've never seen work actually being done on. I remember as a kid that construction in the area was pretty much nonexistent, but since the construction of the Choliseo and the Train, there are several projects underway. I just never see people doing work..

A slightly different one today. I actually wanted to do some sunset shots on my walk home from the train station. However, I rolled my ankle as I walking with the camera in my hand. My finger slipped, hit the shutter... and this happened. I don't know why, but after looking at today's photos, I liked it the best. So it's today's shot!

#4 This is my favorite coworker. It doesn't speak much, doesn't steal my food, and when other coworkers sneeze, it's there to protect me.

Lunch! The first bite of this was so good, it was worth spinning it around and photographing it. Never again though... never again. I don't think my stomach can handle more goodness.

The sky was quite beautiful leaving VSJ for the, so I snapped this on my walk to the car. It was a good thing the sky was beautiful... cause the traffic jams weren't. Anyway, I decided to go HDR with this one.

This was pretty much my entire day today... no time to go out and do any fun shooting. So this is one side of my desk... the messy one littered with a netbook, USB drives, and an ipod. On the other side is the ginormous mac pro that is expected in graphic design.

#10. This is the neighborhood I work in, Hato Rey. Specifically, the Milla de Oro &quot;the golden mile&quot; which is San Juan's financial district. I went subtle HDR with this one as well.

A knife on the gutter railing. I do not know how it got there, nor to I want to know.

Take a picture (well 5) and walk away. Quickly. HDR.

As I was walking from Supermax to my car, the pigeons started flying, I started snapping, and this resulted. HDRish.

#13. Stuck in traffic in Condado due to the Heineken Jazz Fest, the sunset was pretty, and my patience was running out, so the camera was my catharsis before I started cursing at the other drivers.

Bright orange barriers with stencil spray paint stating they're police barriers. Except they're likely not police barriers, but rather just regular barriers with &quot;POLICIA&quot; sprayed on them so people don't move them when they're used them to illegally block parking on the street.

If this is a real police one... well, let's just say I'll be surprised.

I see this shack every day I go to class, and I still have no clue what purpose it serves. It's on a very subtle grassy hill, and when surrounded by modern grey and beige cement/brick buildings, it sticks out even more.
