Great review....Not sure I agree with family friendly... When your spending 300 for a couple, you don't want screaming 3 year olds...
It is loud enough that you wouldnt hear them.
But seriously, hoping a screaming child would be removed by a parent.
And how many people are going to bring their screaming 3 year old to a place that they are going to spend $300 on????
At Disney, I'm sure more than you think. I see it in Boston all the time...
You think the cheap rubes that go to WDW nowadays are even springing for the high end stuff? /sarcasm for those that don't get it.

It says on the review that the dining plan is accepted. But it says here on the Disney site that the dining plan is NOT accepted?

Just a personal opinion - looks good. Entree's are not TOO cheap, $100 a head very consistent with a REAL SIG.
The question that remains in our minds.... is the entire experience equal to, or better than Shula's at the Dolphin?
We intend to book, and compare the two.

STK makes Shula look like outback. STK has some of best steaks I have ever had and the atmosphere is always top notch. They always hire the right staff as well. I have been to both NYC locations, LA, Vegas and South beach and never have I been disappointed.

It's just not in our budget with 2 growing boys and a husband who absolutely loves steak!

Oh, no offense taken at all.
I think the fact that none of the dining plans are accepted there will be the biggest factor keeping the rubes out. The rest that you quoted all take the dining plan, so people would be more inclined to eat there, since it's paid for.And yes, it will certainly happen, but I just think to a lesser extent than some of the other signature restaurants. Time will tell!
