If you can find the right person renting points, it may work out for you. The time you go will play a huge role in what it cost to rent. Availability will be the other issue. I can't say what you may save. At the rate some people are renting points and Poly probably at a premium, you may be able to get about the same price with a room discount.

Do they even have a bus running to Epcot when the monorail is running? I know they do when it is down, but I did not think they kept it running all the time.
