Renaissance Land/Park?

Today we visited the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire and I left pretty inspired. I thought it was amazing and wondered if WDI would ever consider building a real-life medieval England Renaissance land or part of a new park in WDW?

Wow! A renaissance fair! Usually those sort of fairs are mediaeval. I'm jealous.

As for the odds of Disney building something like this along the lines of New Orleans square, Liberty Square or the World Showcase: forget about it. It doesn't synergise with a known intellectual property, doesn't further the sales of some cartoon franchise. No celeb in sight either, so guests aren't thought to be interested.

Pity, but such is modern Disney.

It is really sad though that it has to be like that. :( I really thought the people that built it did a good job, and I figured if Disney went back to the way they used to make quality attractions, it would be amazing. They had some some man-powered "rides" but it was mostly the people and actors and atmosphere that made it a fun place to be. Such a shame that it would take a tie-in. Even New Orleans got a fairytale which eventually turned into a show in the Square. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll make some form of realistic Renaissance movie that is some how family popular...

Pirates of the Bay of Biscaye! Set in Elisabethan England! Starring Johnny Depp as a young William Shakespeare!

Hey, why not? The odds of that happening are only slightly lower than the odds of this thread attracting other posters than us anymore now that it has been moved into an obscure subforum! ;)
