Rehab Rally Revisited

Welcome all to Rehab Rally Revisited! Here I will be revisiting many of my ideas from The Sole Imagineer Episode 10 Immunity Challenge.

So we will be revisiting my timeline of events. However some things I will leave as is. The things I will mostly leave alone are the refurbishments. Without further ado the timeline I have spoken of -

To start things off we'll begin with The Princess and the Frog - A Musical. The musical is planned to open in The Premier Theater in the year 2016 during September. The musical will involve of course The Princess and the Frog's Characters, Music, and Setting of New Orleans and the Bayou. However this post in particular will not be the show it self, but things such as exterior, interiors, costumes, etc.​

Exterior -

The Golden Gate façade will be staying, but the boring gray metal in the back will have to go and be replaced with a theme inspired by the Golden Gate Theater. Of course the marquee will be showing that The Princess and the Frog is playing. The current queue placement will be redone, and will now offer hanging flower pots with flowers found in Louisiana present in said flower pots. Where will these flower pots be hanging from? Well they will be hanging from lampposts installed with the queue fencing. The extended queue however will continued to be shared with Muppet Vision. Through the queue and inside the theater smooth jazz will be playing when the show is not happening.

Interior -

This new show will have the big screens currently used for the First Time in Forever - A Frozen Sing A Long removed, and new smaller screen will be put on the main wall behind the stage. The screen will be used for the background of all the scenes. While more props will come and go as needed to the stage, or will come down from the ceiling directly above the stage. The hanging props will mainly be things such as chandeliers, Faciliers Friends, bayou plants, and Mama Odie's glass bottles. The interior of the theater will be redone to be similar to the Golden Gate Theater's interior.

Costumes -

Tiana will have three different costumes. Her city clothes, her white dress from Almost There, and her green dress. Naveen will have two different costumes. His city clothes, and his green suit. Dr Facilier will keep his one costume. Louis will keep his costume body, but his head will be changed to an articulated one. New for this show will be face characters Eudora, Lawrence, Mama Odie, Charlotte la Bouff, and Eli la Bouff. Charloette will be the only new character with two costumes. Her regular street clothes and her big poufy dress. For the extras they will be getting costumes that were left from Tiana's Showboat Jamboree, and costumes that were inspired by Facilier's Friends.

Puppetry -

Tiana and Naveen as frogs will be puppets. Their legs will be connected through strings. The strings will be hanging under the frog. Their head will be similar to how the puppets at Finding Nemo - The Musical puppets work. Ray will also be done similar to the puppets in Finding Nemo - The Musical. The shadows will be done similar to the current puppets from Villains Mix and Mingle.

Effects -

A screen will be used to help making the background. Moving platforms will come in from the sides to help stage the Bayou scenes. A Chandelier, Facilier's Friends, bayou plants, and Mama Odie's glass bottles will all be on a mechanical device on the ceiling to move around these things and raise/lower them. White Mist will be present in scenes to help set the mood and transition from scene to scene at times. The final effect to be used will be projections. The projections will be used in four scenes. Those scenes being Friends on the Other Side, Gonna Take you There, Dig a Little Deeper, and Friends on the Other Side (Reprise).

To keep things moving here are the scenes with some information. The show has been changed to be only the songs as well similar to Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Overtime this show will change. By the 10th anniversary of this show 2026 I will revise it to be grander.
