What's the word on RCT 2? Surely Chris Sawyer can't miss the fantastic oppertunity to carry on the good work as well as the legion of fans.

I personally would like to see improvement in the ability of water. It would be great to create gushing waterfalls as well as little creeks and puddles. More fountains, musical ones as well as speaking ones, would be great.

What would others like to see?:p

I personally would love it to come for mac (so I could play it on my computer), and it would be pretty cool if you could ride the rides you build (like in Sim Theme Park).

I wish disney would come out with one based on WDW and put the past attractions on there, and some of the ones that they have designed, but havent built yet. So we could do disney the way we wanted too.

I believe Disney is working on something like this. I don't know if it will be based in WDW or just have Disney themes. I saw a preview for it over at http:\\pc.ign.com

It has been over a month ago since I saw it so I don't remember exactly what it was called.

Around September there will be a game released by Disney Interactive called "Ultimate Ride" that is basically a VERY beefed up version of their old game "coaster". What this game will allow you to do is make your own rides..theme them using really neat Disney-imaganeering type props..and then even ride them. It looked REALLY promising at E3 and I am sure it will be a great seller.

There is also already plans for an add on called "Imaganeering" (the original title for the game was "Imaganeer Ultimate Ride")

As for RCT2...wont happen. http://chrissawyer.com/ states very clearly as to WHY he wont do a RCT2....at least not any time soon.

Yes, at some point in the future there will very likely be a sequel.

Well...I guess I should of also mentioned that Chris has said in many different interviews that an RCT2 is VERY unlikley until technology catches up. RCT1 really maxed out how far the technology could go (as far as sim games go...this ones a killer)...i mean..all the rides..as well as the peolpe sprites..thats a lot to deal with...He also isnt too keen on going to 3d (frankly i am not to big on the idea either..it works as a 2d)...so who knows...there WAS a sign at E3 that said that RCT2 was in pre-production..but as anyone in the game industry knows..that doesnt mean anything (seeing how pre-production is sometimes classified as the mere mention of it in a meeting or something)...

For those who have followed Chris's game career may know..he really wants to do another Transport Tycoon...of which i would LOVE to see (still one of my all time fav games)..so who knows. Hasbro interactive is no longer in buisness...so unless he deals with his new publisher...he will have to do his next game out of his own pocket...

(sorry for the sloppy post...its 2:40 am here..and I have been up since 6am YESTERDAY....damn deadlines)
