According to TMZ, Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide. He was 41. Bennington hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday before 9AM local time. Bennington left behind six children from two different wives. Bennington struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide, claiming that an older male had abused him as a child.
