Quickest Route From Caribbean/POFQ To MK?

I will most likely be staying at CBR or POFQ next spring. If I wanted to go to MK, would it be quicker taking the bus from the resort directly to MK, or taking the bus from the resort to Epcot, then taking the monorail to MK? Would the added time of transferring from bus to monorail, and then to the other monorail route at the TTC, make the trip longer than the direct bus route?

The direct bus is the way to go.

If you take a bus to Epcot, you have to go through security before you can go up the monorail platform. Then you have to transfer at the TTC, which is always crowded, and catch either another monorail or the ferry to MK.

Not sure why anyone would do this to "save time" when a direct bus to MK is available.
