Proposal ideas

Hi all

Visiting disney world in spetember and I am planning on proposing. We are staying at Coronado Springs and I was planning on proposing the first night we get there as we wil arrive at the resort around 6pm. I don't think I could wait any longer so want to do it on the first night.

As I can't really afford to do anything via the disney dreams site or contacts I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for somehwere in our resort. Maybe if fireworks are visible from anywhere in particular. Or if anyone has any contact details for anyone who could help set something up.

Any and all ideas welcome as I'm struggling big time and have no budget to speak of!!

Thanks!

There really aren't any places from within Coronado Springs that you can see fireworks. Maybe the top floors of a couple buildings in Casitas, but the hallway of a hotel isn't exactly the most romantic place I can think of.

How about heading to the beach at the Polynesian to watch the fireworks at the MK. Check the schedule and see if there will be fireworks on your arrival day.

My daughter was proposed to in the centre hub facing Cinderella's Castle last May.

My wife, son & I were all present and it was a magical moment - just as Wishes started!

They got married at Easter this year and Wishes was their choice of song for their first dance

For all of us the time and place for the proposal was magical.

p.s. their honeymoon was in WDW (obviously!) and they stood in the same spot as their proposal when Wishes started. Ironically, right next to them a guy got done on 1 knee and proposed.

If you head over to the MK on the first night there is the rose garden to the right of the castle that has a side view of the castle. It is usually a very quiet and peaceful spot. If you get a photo pass card from a CM I would give the CM a "heads up" then they usually will do a series of pictures for you. They even may help "set the stage" getting you into "proper posing". Just a thought.

I stated this in another post I saw a proposal during widhes on the roof of the Contemporary, the guy said Iwish you would marry me. I think a proposal during wishes maybe on the beach at the Polynesian would be good.

Grand Floridian beach or Polynesian, during fireworks. Inside Cindy's castle, in front of mural. (Cindy trying on shoe). By Cindy's waterfountain (unless that's a smoking designated area - ugh). Carriage Ride (Port Orleans). Congratulations - it's a Blessed thing to be in love.
