A permit was filed today for room rehabs in all ten buildings at Pop Century. The permit runs until December 15, 2017.

After having spent time in the POP century confinement cell, perhaps they could install a small jut out allowing people room to turn around or not have to go outside to change their minds.

Wife and I spent our Honeymoon at Pop Century. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Some of the "Deluxe" DVC studio rooms aren't much better

I think Disney has unfortunately locked themselves in with rooms that could be a lot better, but there isn't much room to do so....and I doubt they care... people will come anyways.

iirc when they first opened Pop Century they had some room furniture problems (ex: night table being too high causing people to hit their heads) and some other minor issues, that caused them to change some of the furniture not long after the resort opened.

Smallest room I have ever stayed in other than a cruise ship. I shut the door with my foot from the bed. And I am 5'8" :0

Why do they have a Murphy bed? Why not a double like normal? If someone wants a single than why waste the room to put in a Murphy bed

You've obviously never stayed in a hotel in NYC.

Weird, I actually liked it. And Murphy beds are great - these rooms usually have kids, so more space the better. Reminds me of Art of Animations Murphy bed.

I like it a lot, much better than the current room imo. It's hard to tell but it looks like the floor might be wood/veneer rather than carpet. I like hotel rooms without carpet.
