POFQ bus stop renovations through late-May affect assessability

Just a heads up -- Port Orleans French Quarter is renovating their bus stops and are in the second week of a 5-week renovation. During this renovation, bus stops have been moved to the opposite parking lot -- in front of Building three. You should be aware that if you need assessable resort rooms closest to transportation during this period, you should inquire about BUILDING 3, not Building 4 which is normally the most assessable of the resort's buildings.

My experience this past week:
Time of busses runs exactly the same as always, still the best of all the resorts.
The white wedding tents set up for "protection" offer none -- they leak when it rains, and do nothing to keep the sun off of you. They are about half the size each of the regular stops.
It takes longer to offload because busses can only enter the loading area one at a time -- though they seem to be launching them pretty fast.
On the plus side, they have assigned a full time "crowd wrangler" to the bus stop and that seems to help keep lines somewhat under control.

Thank you for the update. While this renovation won't affect me, for those that it will, information like this makes this forum very useful.

Thanks for this information. We arrive 5/6/15 so the work will not be completed.

By the way -- with the current relocated temporary stops, give yourself an extra 15 minutes in the morning to get to where you want to go ....for example, we all know about that 7:20 Bus that will get you to DAK by 7:45 in time for early entry....well, that doesn't exist at the temporary stop, and you need to be there by 7:05 for that bus to make the opening...arriving at 7:20 won't get you into the park until 8:10...Its probably the same for the other parks as well right now --- Build in extra time in the morning. I did not find this to be the case later in the day.

@Stellajack thank you for the update!! POFQ bus times are fast to just about every park...but keep in mind there might be a wait at the station until your bus arrives -- you miss one, its usually 20 minutes until the next one, except at park opening and late afternoon as people start to leave the parks and head back to the resorts...
That being said:
POFQ to WDW -- 10 minutes
POFQ to EPCOT -- 6 minutes
POFQ to DHS -- 10 minutes
POFQ to DAK -- 14 minutes
POFQ to DTD -- 6 minutes
