Planning Proposal: Need Advice

I am planning on proposing to my girlfriend at the California Grill on our upcoming trip to WDW. I am wondering if anyone knows how I can go about getting someone to take photos of the actual proposal, while also being discreet. I would also love to hear any other advice on how I can make this truly special. Thanks in advance

Call guest services to see if they can have a photopass person there for you or look online for local photogs to be in the restaurant to take candids.

Anything done through Disney themselves would most likely need to be done through Disney Fine Art Photography -> http://disneyfineartphotography.com/ as Photopass ceded most resort photos (exception being Christmas trees) to them a few years ago. Good luck!

Also, contact their cake department to have a white chocolate slipper delivered to your table! They are gorgeous chocolate filled with mousse. You can have a message written in chocolate on the plate. ("Will you marry me?") ("I love you")("The slipper fits")("She said YES")... Nice dessert with a glass of celebratory champagne. Congrats! We saw a proposal at CRT on our last Disney visit, and the Photopass (a/k/a Memorymaker) photographer was lying in wait and ready to go the moment the proposal began, so his presence had either been pre-arranged with Disney, or the groom-to-be had tipped him off ahead of time. Because it was a character meal with a photo package, the photographer blended right in, although I'm not sure if they could be equally inconspicuous in a TS restaurant where photos aren't typically taken. Eh, it's Disney - they'll find a way!

If you're looking for someone local with whom to conspire, I know I just saw a recap somewhere where the groom hired a local woman who arranges on-site WDW proposals for a living, and she had the "site" all prepared and ready. Let me see if I can find it and link to it...
