The Disney Parks Blog shared a preview of some of the new merchandise that will be featured at DCA once the relaunch is complete (Summer 2012). The theme centers around Mickey and Minnie taking a road trip through California

As I mentioned in my post earlier this week, one of the new merchandise programs that you can expect to see when Los Feliz Five & Dime opens is of course driven (literally!) by Mickey Mouse and friends. A little more retro in style, you’ll find ladies’, men’s and kids’ tees and fleece, along with accessories and novelty items like key chains, buttons, ear hats and open- and limited-edition pins.

Inspired by fabled treks across Route 66, Mickey and Minnie are certainly geared up as they travel through Disney California Adventure park, stopping at various roadside attractions along their way including Soarin’ Over California, Ariel’s Grotto, Goofy’s Sky School and Ornament Valley. I think what I like most about this particular program is that it gives you the feeling that you toured along with them.

So which images will be released first? Luigi’s Flying Tires, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Radiator Springs Racers and the ever-popular Red Car Trolley. Expect to see these images in stores in late March/early April, on an array of items including tees, deluxe prints and metal signs.

......

So if you’re saying to yourself, “I don’t see my favorite attraction poster here,” I’ll let you in on a little secret. Every three months or so, a new collection of attraction poster-inspired merchandise will be released. So if you don’t see it now, it might be in the next series. For details on attraction poster merchandise, visit www.ArtofDisneyParks.com.

See more at the blog.

I have to have the whole attraction poster set on metal!

March 27-29th DLR Annual Passholders have a chance to preview and purchase select items. Most importantly though some of the new DCA attraction posters! and a really cool glass milk bottle.

Also previewing were some costumes for BVS and Cars Land. As well as dill flavored popcorn one of 5 flavors that will be in Cars Land. Mad T Party also had few preview items and concept art.

Some of the merchandise mentioned above will be sold in the parks starting this weekend.

The art for these posters will appear on a handful of items including T-shirts, deluxe prints, pins and more. So if you’re curious on how you can add these to your collection, they will be available to purchase beginning this weekend at Rushin’ River Outfitters and Tee’s, Hats & Tattoos at Disney California Adventure park.
