Party of 8 w/ MYW Dining

Hello all. I noticed that for parties of 8, the resturants automatically charge 18% gratuity. Is this covered under the dining plan, or is it just the customary 15% and we would be responsible for the balance? All help is greatyly appreciated.

it's covered... nice huh? Also - you'll want to call disney dining well in advance to make reservations - we just booked our dining a couple weeks ago for our trip in May and many of the times we wanted were already booked up - also keep in mind that most Disney restaurants do not have seating for parties of 8 - they'll seperate y'all into two tables... this was pretty inconvenient for us as we're taking lots of small children - and they can't exactly sit across the restaurant... but the adults would like to sit together too! If you are part of the magical gatherings (8 or more age 3+ staying on-site) you can use the magical gatherings dining line and they'll let you know which restaurants can seat parties of 8 together...
