Parking?

We are driving into Port Canaveral next month for a 4 day cruise on The Wonder. For those who drive, do you mostly park at Terminal A or do you use other resources? Looking online there are a variety of park 'n sail options. All seem to have descent reviews and are a fraction of the price. Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

we've always parked in the terminal garage without regret. The convenience, IMO, is worth it.

I've done both. Parking off-site is a decent savings, but as @lostpro9het mentions, there's a real convenience factor involved. And it's a little "hit or miss", in my experience. You might get lucky and there's a shuttle van right there for you to get onto, or you could wait 20 minutes for the next shuttle to show up, and then you might have to drop people at the other terminals before you get to the DCL terminal. Additionally, when you disembark after the cruise, you're at the mercy of the shuttle driver as to whether you go back to the parking lot with 5 people in the van -- or if they make you wait for the van to be filled before you leave.

If you're in absolutely no hurry either before or after your cruise, the off-site parking is terrific, and buys you an extra few drinks onboard. :) If you just want to get out of your car and walk into the terminal, then you're MUCH better off parking at the port.

We've done different parking 'types': terminal, hotel (room the night before and their hotel shuttle) and the "Park N Cruise". Park N Cruise is quite a lot cheaper and they have been, for us, very reliable.

You're paying for convenience... the parking garage at port canaveral is incredibly convenient and easily one of the easiest ports in Florida... but it is pricey, highly recommended, but expensive. Going out on a limb here, you're on a Disney Cruise, don't be cheap and enjoy yourself!
