The film will follow supernatural occurrences that take place in a newly moved family's home in Palo Alto, California. The family consists of four members including Ryan, a game developer, Ryan's wife Emily, a stay-at-home mom described as "more serious than her young husband—she's constantly on the go, does yoga, and though loving, has an air of maturity about her", their 6-year old daughter Leila, described as "a fearless, opinionated tomboy", and Ryan's younger brother described as a "less fit, less funky version of his brother". The brothers finds tapes of young Katie and Kristi being taught supernatural abilities by their grandmother when Katie noticing the Brothers' presence despite this video being filmed 20 years ago. They also find a camera which, as they discovered, can see paranormal phenomenons that the human eye can't see. With Leila being targeted by supernatural forces, Ryan must find a way to protect his daughter before it's too late.

Dear Paranormal Activity people,

Enough already! :depressed: Your first movie released in 2007 was original, creative, yet simple. And it worked! It worked as a decent modern horror classic. Why did it work so well? Like I said, it was kept simple. It was what the audience didn't see which played on their fears. It was the menacing open bedroom door looking out into the dark hallway, wondering what was going on out there as the couple slept quietly in their bed, what each sound was, and letting the human imagination create most of the scares. It was the eerie, slow buildup to the shocking end. It was NOT throwing CGI garbage & cheap jump scares in people's faces every 5-minutes, but rather creating mood & an ambiance of fear...without actually seeing the ghost itself.

Now we're getting 3D ghosts? :banghead::banghead::banghead: Just stop making these sequels already. Your 15-minutes of fame ended years ago. Just let the original stand on it's own feet for the refreshing supernatural classic that it was. These. Sequels. Need. To. STOP!

Sincerely,
The movie-going public of the world.
