The AP Lounge (that is, the place to turn in your old AP for the new version) in Epcot has some great artifacts and exhibits on display. For those who aren't able to make it, I thought I'd share them here. I'll plan to add the 'meat' of this thread within the next day or two; just wanted to get it up and running for now. Here's a preview:

Thanks for sharing! I did not have a chance to make it over there yet. Picked up my passes at Guest Relations at MK.

Do you have to have an AP just to pop in and look around?

I don't think I have ever been in there (that I can remember...) and the items on display look interesting.

I was pleasently surprised when i saw the exhibit while making my excange. I really just expected to walk into an undecorated building exchange my pass and leave. It is one of those unexpected little things that enhances the magic for a sometimes jaded 9 year passholder.

I thought the exact same thing! I thought it would be a quick in-and-out; I too was pleasantly surprised to find it like it is. The water is a great touch too, IMO. I've made it a point to stop in my past two trips just to look at all the cool memorabilia.

Thanks very much for the photos, that Figment animatronic does get around, it has been at so many events.
Indeed. I was about to say the same thing regarding the block-holding Figment AA.
It would be cool to see some other pieces...like those Figments stashed away in that warehouse down the road in Kissimee...

Nice to see this display however....many thanks for sharing the photos !

:)

Thanks for the heads up and pics. Knew about the AP swap out but didn't know about the exhibits. Will definitely check 'em out in May.

You're welcome. It's really enjoyable.

Thanks for posting the pics

My pleasure. Thanks for checking them out.

Thanks to you I am now excited about swapping my AP in May. :D

Go get 'em! Enjoy!

So glad they put a Dumbo buzzer/beeper on display. Seriously? Out of everything they have done that people would associate with the theme parks, they picked a frigging TGI Fridays/Applebee's "Your table is ready!" pager? Sheesh. Thanks for the rest of the pictures, always good to see that some memories live on.
