Not being tagged?

I just wanted to mention that for some reason I'm not getting alerts when I get tagged in threads that I'm not already following. I looked back to make sure my setting had it on, and it was. This happened a few times recently, and I'm wondering why. Thanks!

I've had this problem on occasion as well, especially when I was on vacation and would come back to a ton of alerts. I'd read back and realize that someone had tagged me, but it seemed to get "lost" in the pile of alerts.

You should check your settings just to be sure. Like I said, the majority of the me, it works for me; just not when I've got a bunch of alerts all at once

Thanks for the help, but like I said, I checked it multiple times and it was like that. And it only happens with threads I'm not already following. I guess quotes trumps tags?

Yes, if you are quoted and tagged in the same post, you should only receive a notification for being quoted.
