Over the past few months and speaking to others, I realized how blessed we are to be able to spend so much time in the world. I guess it's just our thing... We dont have fancy cars, we own a moderate home, we dont go anywhere else.. Just purchased a lot of DVC points when the kids where young... Disney is just all we do! :)
I did not post about the number meals we ate in the rooms, or the fact we where in a studio with Nick on a cot. I guess I am just keeping it real for a minute... I want you to realize we are not rich. We save up all year for our trips... Just like most everyone else... And we are not to proud to eat PB&J in the rooms if we needed!
The next few posts will be postives and negatives about the trip please forgive my spelling... In the car with no glasses! :)
You are so right. You don't have to be rich, just responsible. I'm glad you enjoy your family time as much as so many on here do. And what better place to share that time then Disney

Meeting @figmentfan423
This goes down as one of the best days, I have ever had at Disney.
Terri and James where two of the nicest people.. I have ever met!
I had spotted her In the morning getting on Test Track. I did not want to say anything... Because I did not want her to think I was some kind of stalker! So I did not say anything!! :)
We met up a couple hours later.. Daryl was there for the meeting then went back to the room he was very sick. So after we met up... We hung out, Talked... Our boys played like they had known each other for years!
We stopped at R&C to watch the Hat Lady... She was having an off day.. I think... We then walked around a little more...,
Rode Figment with Figgy....
We ended the evening with illuminations and A grey goose slushy which James was very nice to split with me... As noted before I am not a drinker, and I did not want to have to be carried back.
It was a great evening! If you get an opportunity to meet with a WDWmagic friend even for a cup of coffee... I highly recommend! Nick and I have made a friend for life! :)
Thank you we all feel the same way! In fact I'm hesitant to finish my tr because I know I'll end up shedding a tear or 50:)

Ditto! Thank you!
Oh, if I miss it can you please tag me in it!!

@disneysince71 Thank you for taking us along! You know a lot of times I get caught up in the day to day grind I forget to stop and ponder what really matters. The next thing you know my trip will be here and I'll be totally unprepared for it and miss half the fun of the anticipation that comes along with it. Your post as you go trip report was just the thing I needed to stay focused! Thanks, and I'll do my best to return the favor LOL.

Take a minute for family time.... Remember it's your vacation!
Our 13 days was filled with lots of positives.. BUT it also had challenges....
I think you have to go knowing this is what you will encounter. You also need to be very flexible. Take plenty of time for pool, shopping, dining, characters, whatever YOU AND YOUR FAMILY like to do.
Some of my greatest memories of this trip was when we found a quiet spot and played cards for 10 minutes, or just had ice cream. :)

The New Starbucks....
I have to admit I was not very happy when I heard about The Main Street Bakery was being replaced by Starbucks.
The new Starbucks is Huge and service is fast. Prices are about 10% higher than a normal SB.. But cheaper than WDW prices.
No seating, you have to grab and go.
We had kids ages 20,20,19,18,15,14 with us during the trip.., I bet each of them was in Starbucks twice a day. They where very excited about it!
I think it was a good move on Disneys part. :)
