Alison (Mrs. Machine) is heading up to Vermont tomorrow. I told her to let Nick know how everyone is thinking about him and how we are all cheering him on!
She said that this year's race and last year's race are like night and day!

I can't wait to see that 500 buckle!

Lastest Update:
Nick is out for 390. Last loop was a tough, hot one. He is doing ok. This will be it for today...400 in the morning!

So by my records-he is definitely ahead of where he was last year. When Alison and I got up there on Friday night at approximately 7:00 Pm, Nick had just come in from lap 400.

Still maintaining the 12+ hour lead on where he was last year once he wakes up in the morning. Crazy awesome!

It boggles my mind to think of what he's doing. After that last post I though, "Wow, only 110 miles more to go!" . Then it dawned on me...only 110 miles? I don't even like to drive that far!

It boggles my mind that I flew to California for a 5 day vacation and flew home again, and during that entire time, Nick has just been running, sleeping and eating. So glad this year's race is going better than last year's race. The only reason I checked the internet during my vacation was to see how he was doing!
