that response made me smile.... good one...
Haven't been back to the thread in a while. Disney Dining has this to say: "The cost for the event is $149, plus tax and gratuity per boat."
That is very different than PER PERSON. That changes things. Let's say there are 10 people on the boat. That's $15/person. So now I've done a 180 on this. Given that, I wouldn't mind doing that.
Right, if 10 people on boat then $15/person. If 5 on the boat then $30/person, etc.
Well that isn't nearly a 60 minute excursion.
So, for perspective, how much do the helicopter ride people charge just to fly around WDW? Seems like this is the same thing, but on a boat, in the middle of the park.
Really, except for the upcharge and the drinks'n'snacks, it's not much different than riding the monorail around Bay Lake.
I'd pay good money for a fireworks cruise ON World Showcase Lagoon during IllumiNations. And I don't mean one that stops between France and the UK....
IMO none of those are good reasons to do this. You can do all of those things in so many other places including other boats if you want to be on the water.
I'd just rather walk around World Showcase and "Drink Around the World" at my own leisure. But, that's just me.
