New Facebook page image bye hat

Did anyone else see the Facebook page form passholders?? TOT is the image for DHs not the hat. I am at work and have limited Internet so I can't post a pic.

I don't see how it means anything. It's kind of odd that ToT is appearing with the other park icons...I guess it is the most recognizable weanie in the park right now, but it will never become the Park Icon.

Fantastic. Rumours say that the hat may finally go in the coming DHS overhaul. Any push for the tower to be the new icon is fine with me. In fact, I'm fine with them using the toilets near the entrance as an icon, as long as we get our view on the theater back.

No way. As I said, the Tower is a great attraction and weanie, but it isn't and shouldn't be the park icon...it doesn't represent the park other than the fact that it's in the park (and 3 other parks around the world). The Hat (believe it or not) is probably more fitting of an Icon than the Tower is.

I'm fine with the Tower being the "park icon," IMO it's the best Disney attraction anywhere. That said, I'm not sure how to interpret this other than a great image on a Facebook page.

The hat has been absent from quite a bit of DHS material lately.

But I have to agree the Tower would be a poor icon. Should either be the theater or the Earful Tower.

I could be wrong...but i think the hat was installed 2000-2001 as part of the "100 Years of Magic" event (Walt's 100 bday)

Disney Hollywood Studios.....Hollywood Tower Hotel. Most certainly could see it being the park icon especially since its where ToT started....

There is no trademark issue with the Chinese Theater.
