Because of New Fanstasyland. Same reason for AoA being more expensive than other values.

MK is worth more than the others. I'm surprised it took this long to price it separately.

And the Studios should be about $10.00 cheaper than the others.

All 3 should be at least $10 cheaper. Epcot makes up more than enough in food and beverage.

I don't think so. 17 million people visit MK (I visited 3 times in one year and didnt visit any of the other parks..,and I live in Indiana!) and there is so much more to do in MK than the other parks! Disney's charging more for the park with the most attractions and most nostalgia. Which kinda makes sense on there part. Maybe it'll make one-day trippers visit other parks instead of MK :)

Glad we did Annual Passes this year...now if we just keep hitting the MK we'll break even faster...(the mindgames we play to justify the expense...;4)

Base ticket prices are up an average of 7.2%, fully loaded tickets with the "no expiration" option are up an average of 9.1%. Leading the way this year is a fully loaded 10-day ticket, up 11.3%.

    Wow, just wow.

Have we hit the "Disney is too expensive" price-point yet?

From a PR perspective, why do they announce this? Wouldn't it be better to just let people see "oh look, prices have gone up" than making a blog post that says HEY! LOOK OVER HERE! HIGHER PRICES!

Well you know Disney. They've got to stay ahead of the inflation rate by a good amount...

I don't know much, but I do know that if you get a one day park hopper with the water park add on, you should be forced to march around the resort in a blinking dunce cap that is adorned with lights that are rhythmically correlated to circus music emanating from a small speaker located at the back of aforementioned cap.

Extra $5.00 per head X millions of guest = more profit without having to do much work.

Good question. I think they've been right at the cusp for a while now. We'll see. It is a good test to see the average degree of mental sickness.

Wah waaah, continue paying more for less!

It really should be the other way around, reduce the price of the other three parks. I can't see how anyone in their right mind would pay for a one day, one park for DHS or DAK.
