Mystic Manor Clone At WDW

Finally watched a POV video of Mystic Manor in HKDL, and I liked everything I saw from that attraction-the ride system, effects, AAs, etc. It seems as if this would be a great attraction to clone and bring to WDW-not the entire attraction, but the ride system, themed to something different. With all of this talk of GMR leaving DHS soon, it would seem that it might be a good place for a Mystic Manor ride system clone. Does anyone think this would be a good fit for WDW? Or would an attraction like this just become another IP-based ride?

It's possible, if not probable that Disney will eventually build something in America that uses the Honey Hunt/Ratatouille/Mystic trackless system, but currently none of the next wave of confirmed or rumored projects will, so if they do it's at least 10 years out.

It just seems to me that this ride system is so dynamic that it could make the Omnimover ride system obsolete. I'm sure it requires alot more $ to build and maintain, but the ride experience you would get would be worth it.

Capacity might be an issue.
Anyone know what the hourly throughput of Mystic Manor or Ratatouille is?

Always amazed to how junkie the WDW version looks compared to this version. Wow, I would a trackless system dark ride at some point.

Honey Hunt must have some kind of issue for Disney to clone the WDW ride at Hong Kong, Shanghai and California AFTER Honey Hunt opened. Kinda confusing to me.

The issue is that Hunny Hunt is a C-ticket children's ride that ended up costing Splash Mountain-levels of money to build.

There actually are a couple of differences between the Florida and Disney Pooh rides. The California version has its load station outdoors and does away with the "Traveling through the pages of a book" thing the WDW version does. Also, there's rarely any line to ride.

Sure looks expensive, but very impressive.

This would work better with a stouthearted purveyor of Dreams and a Mischievous purple Dragon. Making Imagination a Reality since 1983...

Yea it would be worth it, but Disney isn't willing to spend that type of cash for that type of a ride system. The only reason the oversea Disney theme parks uses that system is The Walt Disney Company isn't a 100 percent owner of those theme parks unlike Disney land and WDW theme parks.

TDO and Burbank tend to be considered with money spent on attractions for WDW. The best way to put it is TDO didn't want the Monster Inc. Door Coaster back in 2007. If TDO was so concerned over something simple such as a rollercoaster in terms of cost, it is not a big shock about not not using the trackless ride system.

Burbank is right now is concerned with attractions going overbudget and don't expect them to give WDW a trackless ride.

It's just maddening to watch ride throughs of other parks fantastic attractions knowing I'll never get to visit them and knowing theyll probably never get added to WDW. It's like WDW is

Hunny Hunt is one of Disney's best attractions anywhere. It's an amazing experience that appeals to all ages. Mystic Manor is as well.

It's incredibly disappointing that this type of attraction has not come to North America. I remember how jaw dropping Hunny Hunt was. I was so impressed to see a dark ride evolved into such an amazing experience. The animatronics, the effects, the vehicles roaming "freely", the bouncing scene, etc.

Isn't one of the upcoming Star Tours rides rumoured to use this technology?
