Phils 12, Nats 0. First inning.
Guthries best years were when he was an Oriole. No debate.
13-1 in the 4th as the Nats have started their comeback. If this were a football game, that'd only be a two-possession difference. So anything can still happen...
Now it's 17-3. I think they are playing football.
Nats still have 3 more outs to go, which means still a shot at scoring those 14 runs here in the top of the 9th. I'm not calling this one over just yet.
It's not over 'till the muscly girlfat lady sings.
Better to get blown out in one game than lose 14 one run games.
Some bench clearing drama earlier today down at Tropicana Field during the Jays - Rays game.
@JenniferS may have some thoughts on this!
Yes, being Canadian she'll think the Jays should apologize for overreacting.
MLB Unveils 2017 Holiday Uniforms, Will Now Cover Entire Weekends
A new chapter for the Atlanta Braves starts tomorrow (April 14th) as they welcome SunTrust Park as their new home. This will also be a chance for the team to make history this season, and win their first regular season game for 2017 that doesn't fall on a Wednesday. Keeping fingers crossed.
I dont even know why they changed stadiums, Turner Field wasnt even that old.
Yeah Turner Field did seem pretty short-lived. It needed work, but is far from being dated. I think a lot had to do with traffic flow, and getting guests to and from games with greater ease. Of course, in the Atlanta area, that is becoming more & more impossible regardless of location.
If they honestly got a new stadium built because of traffic, they need to return all the money the city may of kicked in.
That was just a guess. I'm not sure the exact reason. But whatever may have caused it, the decision seemed premature to build new homes for both the Braves & the Falcons. I couldn't find a problem with either the Ted or the GA Dome hosting their respective teams.
Apparently some of the roads getting to and from SunTrust Park in Atlanta have been a little....choppy.
You can't tell the players with a scorecard today.
Everyone is number 42.
Separate names with a comma.
