MK Rope Drop

This upcoming trip I'm trying to do many things we've never done before - one being the MK Rope Drop.
MK will be opening at 9 the week we are there. We are staying at Pop and are using the bus system. How early would we need to leave the resort in order to see the ceremony?

Also... how much earlier do you have to be there to increase your chances of being family of the day?

Make sure you are at the bus stop no later than 8 a.m. The welcome show has started anywhere from 8:40 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. in recent weeks.

I don't think that there is any time restraint placed on this - you could be first there or arrive at the very last minute - it just down to luck
