It seems unlikely that it will return in the original form. Here's what it looked like when last seen, during the conversion from ElecTRONica to Mad T Party in April 2012:
It was in pretty bad shape after ~20 months of being covered by a stage. Given that these photos are from two and a half years ago, I can only assume that it's gotten considerably worse since then, and would require a major refurbishment to bring it back to show standards
Personally, I would rather the refurbishment effort be directed toward an overhaul of that corner of the park. Sure it got some changes in the mid-00's (including the fountain in question), but its use has shifted so much with the dance parties that the layout doesn't work any more. The individual themes may change, but it appears that the events themselves are here to stay, and the infrastructure should be upgraded to reflect that. Hiding show lights during the day and providing a more adequate crowdflow at night would go a long way to making that area more enjoyable all day. It's too bad that any upgrades to it have been sidetracked by various other projects through the years
