Well, a lot of guests are having an issue in the fact that Nestle has not provided the Mickey shaped bars to the park, and they are out "for awhile".

Yes, the world is coming to an end ;)

Hopefully this is only temporary! on my last trip I noticed a lot of the regular treats from the Candy Palace were missing and replaced with generic mass produced junk. The Mickey bars are one of my favorites, and I hope to see it return :(

They, like many other manufacturers, occasionally have production challenges. They are one of my clients, not the first time they've had issues with ice cream.

Could this be a contract issue? Where Nestle wants a higher per unit price due to rising costs, and Disney doesn't want to pay it? If so, we will have the fight for awhile, and then they make up and things return to normal... And of course, the price in-park for a Mickey's Bar goes up....

Not sure about the availability currently, but not all that long ago one could satisfy their Mickey Bar craving by simply visiting their local grocery stores' frozen food section.
Boxed Mickey Bars were sold for the taking, and a lot more reasonably priced per unit then in the Parks.

I used to buy a box now and then.
There used to be a whole series of various Disney themed ice cream treats available, but this was some years ago.

I remember those old ones with the actual Mickey face on them. They rocked! I haven't seen those in ages. I find that Magnum ice cream bars from my grocery store mimic the current Mickey bars from the parks pretty well.

Probably not.

But everything tastes better when actually eaten in a Disney park :)
