Well, they're switching from Friskies to 9-Lives, so expect some uproar with that.

When we were there on Nov 1st, I recall the center door across from the viewing area of the fruit bats was open, and lights were strung inside. I spoke to the CM about what was happening with the bats- something about needing the extra space- I wish I had recorded it. The komodo dragon was not out either, and IIRC it looked like they might be digging or changing that habitat.

I love the walking trail exhibits at DAK and hate when they are closed. I know many people don't care very much for them, but for me they effectively capture and continue what is the excellent theming for this park. Some of the best edutainment can be found here. Hopefully this will even be a bit better after this refurb.
