This is not actually for the entire park, but is instead for the old Army control bunker where they oversaw the missiles that were part of the Central Florida Tactical Civilian Defense System (the missile silos inside Cinderella Castle) that is located to the west of the Magic Kingdom. The missile system was built as a defense against a Soviet attack via Cuba but there were also concerns, given the civilian nature of the surrounding areas, that the control facility could be more susceptible to sabotage and therefore the control center could be self-destructed. The facility is still used for general storage following the end of the program and removal of the missiles in 1993 as recommended in 1991 by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission.

So that is declassified now? Or are you sharing sensitive information just to score some points on the internet? I don't think this is meant to be out there.

The Walmarting of Disney...just look at that peeling label and the lackadaisical method of trimming the paint around the wall plate.

Obviously someone had tried to hide this by taping something above the wall plate, but then somebody RIPPED it from the wall pulling the paint off at the same time.

I'm not real sure why the line differentiating the beige paint from the blue paint is not more defined, but I can only assume it's a sign of degradation of the labor pool.
