Magic bands and children's tickets

When my older daughter became a Disney "adult" I took her unfinished no-expiry tickets to a booth and they exchanged them for adult tickets. (There was confusion and they tried to charge me but it all worked out.)

Fast forward several years and my youngest is about to be an "adult". She too has unfinished no-expiry tickets but now they are linked to her bands. Oh was able to successfully make fp+ reservatios with her old ticket. Do I need to do anything now or just let her keep entering with these kids tickets? And if they ask for a finger print, she never gave one before because she was a kid.

Thoughts?

The MagicBands really still do the same thing as the old ticket media, you just wear it on your wrist. I presume she would come up as "Child" on the CM's tablet at the front gate, so to avoid possible issues at park entry it might be worth it to stop at Guest Relations and do the same procedure as before. They can look up her ticket using her MagicBand.
