This thread is going to focus on my latest project, Kingdom Hearts V, which is the continuing project of the past two games I have created, Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts IV. This will be the final game of the series. This is the first time anyone has imagineered a game this far into the future. You do not need to read through all of the past games to understand this one, but to keep up with some of the plot and cliffhangers, you might want to look over a few of Jiminy's Journal entries in Kingdom Hearts IV.

This thread will feature everything from all aspects of the game. From world descriptions, a complete Jiminy's Journal, minigames, weapons and hidden items. I will basically explain the entire game, through vivid detail, illustration and description. Kingdom Hearts would be one of the more difficult games to describe, what with the detailed worlds and vast variety of characters, but I've done it before, so I know what I'm getting myself into. :p

The game features 16 immersive worlds, some new, some old, new weapons, and several packed storylines, which run their course throughout the game.

Basically, I'll describe each world, with a detailed description of each area, as we progress through the story of each world. I'll also feature the battles, lurking Heartless and the items that could be found. After each world segment is completed, there will be a "Jiminy's Journal Entry" post, which states the overall story of the world, what characters you met there, what items you found and other information about the world.

After the conclusion of Kingdom Hearts IV, Sora, Riku and Kairi have returned to Destiny Islands, the first time in many years. Although a joyou occasion, secrets lie beneath the surface. A dangerous secret Riku has been harboring can alter his friendship with Sora, forever. Sora's relationship with Kairi has finally advanced, but what will be the outcome, as Maleficent and her sidekick, Pete, search the worlds, on a mission to find the Princesses of Heart, for their own mysterious reasons. King Mickey has a new mission for Sora, as he tries to unlock the past and rescue a few lost friends who have dissapeared. As if this wasn't enough, Xehanort, the apprentice of Ansem the Wise, has emerged. He's presumed to have dissapeared, along with his Heartless and Nobody, how has he returned? He's sure to wreak vengeance on the Keyblade Master and everything he holds dear. Sora is plunged into another journey, alongside friends Donald Duck, Goofy, King Mickey and so many others, as a battle of light and darkness comes to a climax in the universe of Kingdom Hearts.

Lol thanks for everyone's enthusiasm!

As for an XBOX/XBOX 360 game platform, I personally haven't thought that much about it. I've left it up to the audience's interpretation of the game. If you want it to be on a Playstation system, it coule be. If you want it to be on an XBOX, it could be. Either way, it will not affect the style and flow of the game.

Ooh, that was kind of mean.

Soon as in today.

Sorry, if it seems like I'm not posting anything (mainly because I'm not), I'm still recuperating from Kingdom Hearts IV which ended just a short while ago, but now I'm ready to start with KHV, so the first update will be today.

Kingdom Hearts V

After you insert the game disc into the game console, you turn the console on and the menu screen appears on the television. There are two options displayed on the screen: New Game and Load Game. Well, you have your Memory Card in the game console slot, but since you haven’t started the game yet, there are no files to load. So, you choose New Game. Afterwards, the level of difficulty menu appears on the screen. There are three levels of difficulty.

• Beginner’s Mode (The easiest mode of the game. You’re sure to win. However, you’ll miss out on some extra bonuses during the game.)
• Normal Mode (The normal level of difficultly. It’s a bit more challenging, but it is average gameplay. You can unlock all of the secret goodies in this mode.)
• Expert Mode (The hardest level of difficulty. This is for the true experts of gaming. It is extra hard and is quite a challenge to beat.)

You decide to choose the Normal Mode of gameplay. After you select, the next screen comes up. This screen displays the vibration controller settings. You can choose whatever you’d like. After you choose, the sound settings menu comes on. Once again, you can choose whatever you’d like for your own personal game experience. After you confirm your settings, the game starts and the screen goes black…
The title appears on the television. Kingdom Hearts V. The screen fades to black again.

In the opening CGI sequence of the game, Utada Hikaru’s hit song, Simple and Clean, plays, the same song as heard in the title of the game. During the introduction CGI sequence, the scenes flash to prominent events that happened in Kingdom Hearts V. The scenes show Sora and Kairi on the islands together, Sora, Donald and Goofy fighting off several Heartless in Radiant Garden, the defeat of the Unknown leader, Kriux, they’re reunion with Riku and the final shot show Sora, Kairi and Riku laying on the beach together again, as the sun sets before them. Sora closes his eyes and smiles, as he dissolves into the sand into a dark void, descending into the depths of a mysterious place. Sora steps forward and from beneath his feet, hundreds of white doves appear, revealing a stained glass platform, showing Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Kairi and King Mickey.

The tutorial of the game is very similar to the exact opening of the series. Sora steps forward and a mysterious voice tells him to step forward, as three weapons emerge onto the stained glass platform. Before Sora’s stained glass image, a sword lies, before Donald’s, a staff lies, and before Goofy’s, a shield is found. It is up to the player to choose what Sora will fight with. You pick the sword. The other two weapons disappear. Suddenly, in the center of the platform, the glass breaks away, revealing a crevasse. You jump downwards.

Sora lands on a platform completely stained-glassed with Heartless creatures. A mysterious voice tells Sora that the Heartless will always try to harm him, so it’s time to fight. In the next portion of the tutorial, Sora fights against several Heartless shadows. After all of the shadows have been defeated, the platform is overcome by a sea of darkness. Wow, this is definitely déjà vu.

Sora arrives on a mysterious, white platform, where the stained glass images of Roxas, Namine, Axel, Xion and Ansem the Wise are seen. A save point is located in the middle of the platform. Head to the save point and save the game before proceeding. After the game is saved, a mysterious stained glass pathway emerges at the end of the platform and proceeds to the next platform. Sora runs across the pathway and arrives at the final platform.

Sora arrives on a platform, with the insignias of three unknown people, each wielding a keyblade. The voice tells Sora that as long as there is light, the darkness will always exist and that the two always counteract eachother. As expected, a huge monster emerges before Sora, a Heartless monster who has become one of the most renowned monsters in the series. Darkside.

-Boss: Darkside-

The first boss fight of the game! You can attack Darkside by locking onto his hands. Try not to stay at the front of the creature because it might mean some serious damage. When the hand is low enough to the ground, unleash powerful combos on it. However, you should watch out! Whenever Darkside’s hands get low enough to the ground, he will unleash orbs of energy from the heart shape in his stomach that zero in on Sora’s location.

Darkside slams his mighty fist into the platform, sending a wave of energy. Jump over the wave and head to Darkside’s fist. His fist creates a portal of darkness, spewing shadows. Deal with the shadows first before proceeding back to fighting Darkside. After a few successful combos, the screen flashes, indicating that Darkside has fallen.

After the battle, Darkside pins Sora to the ground, knocking the sword out of his hand. A pool of darkness spreads beneath Sora, devouring him. Darkside is unrelentless. Then, out of the darkness…the Keyblade appears in Sora’s hand, sending a ray of energy right at Darkside! The area is wrapped in golden light, and then…

Sora snaps up, awake on the shores of Destiny Islands, as the sun sets in the distance. Next to him, Kairi and Riku are stirring him awake. They had just defeated Kriux and reunited on the islands, together again. Things are finally back to the way it should be. Kairi says that she’s happy to be back home, with two of the most wonderful people in the world. Kairi tells the two that she’d better get home, as it’s getting late. She leaves and starts heading home, as the sun begins to set over the island. Sora and Riku, sit on the beach; best friends who haven’t seen each other in years.

Before Sora can speak, Sora notices that Riku looks a bit sad. Riku’s been thinking about what King Mickey said. Sora asks Riku if he is feeling alright. Riku says that what Kairi said wasn’t exactly true; he isn’t a wonderful person. Sora insists that he’s just being silly, but then Riku grows sad and serious. He admits that there is something that he should have told Sora years ago, but he didn’t. Sora remarks, saying that he sounds so serious. They’re best friends, what could it possibly be? Riku admits that it’s the kind of thing that could end their friendship. Riku suggests that they go talk and Sora nods. The two make their way across the beach and begin to talk, as the sun sets behind them.

At the edge of the shore, Riku begins to tell Sora about the secret he’s been hiding for years. Six years ago, when the darkness disguised him as Xehanort’s Heartless, back when he was working with Ansem the Wise and King Mickey in Twilight Town, he learned something that had happened, something bad.

Ansem the Wise had a long discussion with Namine and King Mickey, a conversation that Riku was left out of. All of this happened while Sora was asleep, as Namine was re-chaining his memories in the basement of the manor in Twilight Town. Namine told Ansem the Wise and King Mickey that as she was connecting Sora’s memories again, she found traces of darkness is his heart from when he turned into a Heartless. She then shows them an image she drew of a dark-infested Sora. She tells them that she absent-mindedly drew this image one night when she was sleeping.

A Sora controlled by darkness. She says that she felt that something terrible would happen in the future and things would only get worse, something related to this dark Sora. Namine says that she’s never seen anything this dangerous and confusing before. What could this all mean?

From that moment on, Ansem the Wise forbid any word of Sora’s darkness to be spoken of, but King Mickey couldn’t help but tell Riku. He never told Sora because he thought it would interfere with their friendship. But now, years later, nothing has happened to Sora, but Riku feels incredibly guilty for never telling him. Then, King Mickey told him that now might be the best and only time to tell him, especially after being separated for years. It would be a way to clear the air from keeping the secret about his bestfriend.

Sora doesn’t know what to say. He’s confused about what could possibly be meant by the darkness overtaking him. He’s been fine all this time. What could it mean? That’s not the part that hurts him, though. Honestly, he’s upset, he’s very upset and mad. Not at the secret, but at the fact that Riku would keep this from him for all this time. Sora says that they’re supposed to be best friends and that they should be able to tell eachother anything. He says that Riku betrayed all that.

Riku says that he was trying to protect his bestfriend, by not letting him focus on the dark matters, only making things worse. He says he just wanted to stay quiet and see how things worked out. Sora says that he’s upset with him and doesn’t know how he can trust him anymore, especially after keeping a secret like this. He walks away, ready to head home. Riku knew something like this would happen. Although they may be fighting, Riku realizes that it’s his job to save Sora from whatever darkness may come his way.

He leaves the shore, well aware that his friendship with Sora may have just crumbled away from beneath his feet.

Destiny Islands

The next day, it was just like any other day on Destiny Islands, bright, warm and beautiful, but Sora didn’t seem to notice, he was to enthralled with the thoughts going through his head. Sora arrives on the Island of Destiny Islands. There, Kairi is waiting for him. When Sora approaches Kairi, she notices that something is bothering him. Sora doesn’t try to cover things up and just tells her what’s been on his mind.

He tells her all about Riku and the secret that he’s been keeping from him, about the darkness in Sora’s heart. This leads Sora to question whether there are other things that Riku knows that he doesn’t know about. Kairi insists that Riku was trying to protect him and that he shouldn’t let this get to him. She’ll make sure that everything will turn out alright in the end.

Riku arrives on the island and approaches the two. When Kairi seems him approaching, she waves and acknowledges him. Riku starts to wave at Sora, but he dismisses him and looks in the opposite direction. Riku arrives on the islands and asks them what they are planning to do today. Kairi says that after being away from the islands for all these years, they just want to enjoy the day and relax.

They all head off into different directions. Kairi heads to the boat dock in the ocean, Riku heads off to the isolated island and now and Sora is left on the beach, giving the video game player the opportunity to start their own adventure.

While exploring Destiny Islands, there are several sights to see. By the waterfall, is the Secret Place, a secret cavern, where doodles and drawings are scratched onto the walls. A small crack in the rocky ceiling gives the minimal amount of light. In the corner of the cavern, scratched into the rocky wall is a drawing of Sora and Kairi, sharing a Paopou fruit, a star-shaped fruit which, as legend says, binds two people together forever.

On the opposite side of the cavern is the sealed door, the Keyhole of Destiny Islands. Sora recalls sealing the Keyhole, locking this world from the darkness about four years ago. This event happened at the end of Kingdom Hearts III. Now that the Keyhole is sealed, Sora can rest a little easier, knowing that the islands aren’t going anywhere.
Upon returning to the beach, you can also explore the Sea Shack, a wooden shack on the beach. Inside, a save point is located, amongst scattered pieces of wood, crates and a wooden sword. You take the wooden stairs to a long boardwalk, which leads to an isolated island. On the island, Riku sits on a bended palm tree. He mentions that it’s great being back on the islands and apologizes yet again. Sora stays there in silence.

Sora then heads over to talk with Kairi at the boat dock. He sits next to her, holding her hands, as they stare off into the distant ocean. It’s amazing how so many years could pass and yet, they always end up back to where everything started. Riku starts to head over in their direction. As the two continue talking, they hear a clanking noise. They dismiss it at first, but then they hear it again. Sora hops off the deck to investigate the noise.

He looks underneath the boat dock and sees something hitting against one of the wooden poles. Sora proceeds to go into the ocean water, underneath the deck, to claim the item When he emerges, Kairi and Riku are shocked. Sora is holding a bottled letter, with King Mickey’s seal on it. They all wonder what this could possibly be. Sora wastes no time in opening the bottle and reading the letter.

Dear Sora, Riku and Kairi,

Thank You.

Signed,
King Mickey

After Sora is done reading the letter, a bright glow emits from the writing. The glow spreads and blinds the group. Everything goes white and silent. The light fades and the trio finds themselves at the entrance of Disney Kingdom. King Mickey must have something he wants to tell them.
